Throughout the year, the em ployees and retirees of PGE work hard to contribute thousands of hours as v o lu n teers to charities, schools and sports teams in the communities where they live and work. To honor their dedication, PGE makes monetary donations to m any o f these local n o n p ro fits through its Employee Grant Volunteer program. For the third quarter o f 2006. PGE awarded a total of 56 EVGs throughout O regon and so u th w est Washington, amounting to $ 2 5 ,0 2 5 .
