The Kick-Off BBQ will be held on Friday, June 23 at the U m atilla High School commons and will be prepared and served by the UHS FC C LA club . The ever-popular Coffey Twins will provide the evenings entertainment again. On Saturday morning festivities begin with a 5K fun Run/Walk at Spillway Park and continue with a parade, which starts at 10 a.m. The remainder of the activities will be held at the Umatilla Marina Park: to include local entertainment, food and craft vendors, kids activities, and a beer garden. Music and dancing on the black top at the M arina parking lot will start at 6 p.m. with live entertainment provided by Faultline, a blues based rock band and the Little M cKay Creek Band, a country band. The Landing Days Committee would like to see more Flea Market, craft and food ven d ors at their celeb ration . If you are interested in participating, contact Cheri Young at (5 4 1 ) 922-3712. The rental fee is $15 per 15-foot by 15-foot space. The size of each booth has been enlarged to allow vendors the use o f canopies. Be sure to mark June 24 on your calendar and head to the Umatilla Marina for som e fun and entertainment.
