Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, January 11,2006 - SEVEN Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) re ports handling the following business: The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office in Heppner has released the following report: D e c . 27: M CSO received a report from a caller in Heppner of a 90- year old female who couldn't get out of bed and was dizzy. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner that a male subject cut the end off his little finger; a tourniquet was put on the fin g er and the bleeding was under control. -MCSO deputy cited Vonni Jo Sm ith, 23, for Expired Tags. -A female subject brought her son to the Irrigon Ju stic e C ourt, reporting he was bitten by a dog. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner that a big yellow dog almost attacked him. -MCSO received a request for a welfare check from a caller in Heppner on her mother as she hadn't heard from her in a couple of weeks. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that som eone had taken screws out her fence and left the slats on the ground. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that she was having problems with her landlord. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that neighbors unplugged the e le c tric ity , unplugged a re frig e ra to r and then plugged it back in. Deputy contact was requested. D e c . 28: M CSO deputy assisted a female subject on the highway; she recently had surgery and had been released the previous day from the hospital. The deputy advised she was heavily sedated and reported in tern al b leed in g . The Irrig o n am bulance was requested. -MCSO received a request for an address from the Yakima Police Dept, for notification of next of kin. Boardman Police Dept, was requested to notify the next o f kin at an ad d ress in Boardman. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon of a dog on the loose; the dog has b itten c h ild ren before and has been running loose for many years. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon of an assault on a subject by an adult male about an hour p rev io u s. The in cid en t occurred in Umatilla and was referred to the U m atilla Police Dept. -MCSO received a report of graffiti on the east side of the library. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in B oardm an that an e x employee stole $ 1500 worth of sheet metal and sold it in Washington. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f about five su b jects whistling; the caller couldn't see anyone as it was too dark, but thought it may be possible gang activity. A deputy was unable to locate anyone. -MCSO deputy was flagged down by a subject in B oardm an. It was determined the subject was only waving hello to the deputy. -MCSO deputy cited Paul Michael Hussey, 28, for No Operator’s License. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon of th ree v eh icles four- wheeling on a private lot. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Irrigon that they were up w atching tv and heard someone on the front porch. BPD and BFD assisted. -MCSO received a report that the fish hatchery sign was tagged. -MCSO received a report of a cow versus car motor vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle was nowhere around. The vehicle had minor damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. The driver had no injuries and was trying to turn around and got stuck. -MCSO received a request for a deputy to check out a vehicle that had been parked at the fairgrounds for a w eek.
