FOUR - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, January 4,2006 Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) re ports handling the following business: D ec. 20: M CSO re ceiv ed a rep o rt that William Harold Easton, 32, was served by NORCOR two Morrow County Circuit Court warrants for Failure to A p p e ar/P o sse ssio n o f a Controlled Substance II. -MCSO received a report from the Hermiston Police Dept, that Andrew S cott G om ez, 21, was arrested on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay F in e /D riv in g w hile License Suspended. He was cited and released. -M C SO deputy arrested Ruben Moreno, 29, on an Irrigon Justice Court w arran t for F ailu re to A p p ear/D riv in g w hile License Suspended. Moreno was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Lexington that a semi lost its load. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon of a domestic disturbance in progress. -MCSO received a report o f male juveniles riding 4-wheelers down a p riv ate drive out into C olu m b ia L ane and “spinning cookies.” -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that som eone broke and stole some of their Christmas lights during the night. -M C SO , H eppner ambulance received a report o f a silen t alarm from Lifeline for an 86-year-old female in Heppner. -MCSO deputy cited a subject for Violation of the Basic Rule, 66 mph in a 55 mph zone. -M C SO deputy arrested Shane W illiam Bender, 26, on a Morrow C ounty C ircu it C ourt w arrant for G rand Jury In d ic tm e n t/F lee in g or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, Reckless Driving. -MCSO received a report from D eschutes C ounty that Ed D w ight Reese, 47, was arrested on an Irrigon Justice C ourt w arrant for F ailu re to A ppear/D riv in g w hile License Suspended. He was cited and released to appear. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that th e ir C h ristm as decorations were vandalized sometime during the night. -MCSO received a hang-up 911 call from a location in Irrigon. On call back, a subject advised that she had a machine that is not working correctly and it is dialing 911 for some reason. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in B oardm an that neighbor children shot the c a lle r’s horse three tim es with a paintball gun the previous day. Animal control advised the caller make a police rep o rt re g a rd in g the incident. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner that a vehicle is parked right in front of their residence and there is a sign advising No Parking on that side of the road. -M C SO receiv ed num erous ' rep o rts throughout the day of motor v e h icle acc id e n ts and disabled vehicles on 1-84 and on Highway 730. -Irrigon ambulance received a report of a motor vehicle accident in Irrigon involving an injured 44-year- old female. t -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report of a hit and run a ccid en t in Boardman that occurred the p rev io u s n ig h t; it was property damage only. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report of a disabled vehicle on 1-84; it was a stalled vehicle with a flat tire. It was determined the vehicle was not a hazard and the owner would get the vehicle. -B oardm an Police D ept, o ffic e r a ssisted Boardman ambulance with a call. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of a truck pulling a person in a sled around. The subjects were contacted and advised not to sled on the road anymore. - B o a r d m a n ambulance received a report from a caller in Boardman of a 2 2 -y ear-o ld preg n an t fem ale who was having difficulties. The patient was tra n sp o rte d to G ood Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston. D ec. 21: Irrigon ambulance received a report from a caller in Irrigon of a 39-year-old female with a severe nosebleed that had been going on for about 30 minutes and wouldn't stop. The patient was transported by private vehicle to medical assistance. -B oardm an Fire Dept, received a report of a residential fire alarm in Boardman. There was no one at home and there was no smoke or fire at the scene. - B o a r d m a n ambulance transported five patients to Good Shepherd M edical C en ter in Hermiston. -B oardm an Police D ept., M CSO receiv ed rep o rts from a c aller in Boardman of an unknown suspicious female subject on the c a lle r ’s p roperty, knocking at the door and trying the door the first time she knocked. -Boardm an Police D ept, o ffice r arrested Katherine Seebald, 54, for Theft II. She was cited and released to appear. -Boardm an Police D ept, o ffice r assisted Boardman Fire Dept, with a call. -Boardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of a motor vehicle accident; a truck was off the road in a field and damaged a fence. -Boardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that a burglary just occurred; the caller was out and someone broke into their house and took several items. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that the caller’s vehicle had been broken into sometime last night. -MCSO deputy cited a male subject for Violation of the Speed Limit (Truck Speeding), 72 mph in a 55 mph zone, and warned for Failure to Keep Log Book Current. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a radio was taken from the caller’s vehicle. -M C SO deputy assisted Irrigon ambulance with a medical call. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman that the theft of mail is happening again; the caller had not received mail for a week. -MCSO received a re p o rt from a c a lle r in B oardm an that a fem ale subject was late getting back from a trip. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon of a gang fight in front of Huwe’s; there were multiple subjects present. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f telephone harassm ent. The c a lle r has a phone num ber and name o f the person. -M CSO re ceiv ed num erous rep o rts throughout the day of motor v eh icle accid en ts and disabled vehicles mainly on 1-84. Dec. 22: M CSO , Boardman Police and Fire depts. received a report of a possible truck on fire. It was determined to be a bonfire. The fire dept, unit was cancelled. -B oardm an Fire Dept, received two reports of motor vehicle accidents on Highway 730 and on I- 84 due to icy road conditions. -Boardm an Police D ept, receiv ed sev eral reports of m otor vehicle accidents on Highway 730 and 1-84 due to icy road conditions. -Irrigon ambulance received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 730. It was determined to be a non-injury accident. - B o a r d m a n ambulance received a report of a rollover motor vehicle accident on Highway 730. Two patients with m inor in ju ries w ere tra n sp o rte d to G ood Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston. -M C SO , H eppner ambulance received a report of a female having trouble breathing. The patient was tra n sp o rte d to P io n eer M em orial H o sp ital in Heppner. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner of a broken water pipe. -MCSO received a rep o rt from The D alles Police Dept, that M arcus Eric Jim, 44, was arrested on an Irrigon Justice C ourt w arran t for F a ilu re to A p p ear/D U II. He was lodged at NORCOR. -MCSO deputy cited a male subject for Violation of the Basic Rule, 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO deputy cited Anthony Joseph Forsyth, 34, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that her landlord attacked her and keeps coming over to her house. The caller is afraid of what is going to happen. -MCSO received a relayed report from a caller in B oardm an th a t an unattended forklift about 20 feet off 1-84 may cause a hazard. Oregon State Police were advised. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in H eppner o f a d o m estic disturbance in progress: a male subject is hurting her mom. Robert Scott Martin, 34, was a rre sted fo r H arassm ent-D V and S tran g u latio n . He was lodged at the U m atilla County Jail. -M C SO d eputy arrested Josh Lee Munkers, 28, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to A p p e ar/D riv in g w hile License Suspended. A Civil Service was also completed. M unkers was cite d and released to appear. -M C SO receiv ed n u m erous rep o rts throughout the evening of motor vehicle accidents and d isab led v e h icles on Highway 730 and on 1-84. D ec. 23: M CSO , Boardman Police and Fire depts. Boardman ambulance received a report of a motor vehicle accident east of the Port o f M orrow that was blocking the westbound fast lane. Four patients were tra n sp o rte d to G ood Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston. A vehicle that stopped to assist was hit by another vehicle that kept going. -MCSO, Boardman P olice D ept, receiv ed a rep o rt o f a d o m estic disturbance in progress in Boardman. It was a brother - sister verbal and physical dispute. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a relayed rep o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman of an assault that just occurred. The caller’s d au g h ter called him and ad v ised h er m o th e r’s b o y frien d slam m ed her against the floor. - B o a r d m a n ambulance received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 730. -M C SO deputy overtook a vehicle on 1-84 that was going 90+ mph and heading toward a previous m otor v eh icle accid en t. Madgy Aly Hegazy, 40, was cited fo r E x ceed in g the Speed Limit, 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in H eppner th at a m ale subject’s dogs were in her garage again, tearing things up. -MCSO deputy cited Mark William O ’Connor, 25, for Exceeding the Speed Limit, 85 mph in a 65 mph zone. -MCSO received a report from a caller that water was running over the road at McNabb/Bunker Hill in lone and a p o ssib le washout may occur. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a 35 mph zone sign was snapped off. ODOT was advised. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that Christmas lights were stolen a couple of days ago. -MCSO received a hang-up 911 call from a location in Irrigon. It was determined to be a juvenile male playing on the phone. He was warned not to do that. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner of vehicles making wrong turns off May Street onto Gale Street. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that Christm as décor was stolen som etim e between Thursday and Tuesday. -M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that she was passed in a no passing zone on Highway 730. The vehicle appeared to be following the caller, then went down one road a little ways, stopped, and went backwards down the road to another road. A deputy was unable to locate the vehicle. Dec. 24: Boardman P o lice D ept, receiv ed a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman of semi trucks parked and the south Shell gasoline station and people are drinking. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that her son witnessed a hit and run accident at the Boardman Shell station the previous night. V -Irrigon ambulance received a report from a caller in Irrigon of an 81- year-old female who was ill. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner of a broken water shut-off valve. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner of a set o f keys found in front o f the St. Patrick’s Senior Center. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner that a broken pipe was fixed and the w ater needs to be turned back on. -MCSO received a report of an audible burglary alarm from a residential location in Irrigon. It was determined to apparently be a delivery by Santa. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Lexington of a dog chasing an employee and children. Jeanette L. Gowen, 45, was cited for Dog at Large. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner of a problem with garbage and dogs getting into it. -MCSO received a report from the U m atilla P o lice D ept, that Jason Trickel, 26, was arrested on a Morrow County warrant for F ailure to Pay Fine/ D riv in g w hile L icen se Suspended. -MCSO received a rep o rt from The D alles P o lice D ept, that M ark W agenhoffer, 48, was a rre sted on a H ep p n er Justice Court w arrant for D U II. W ag en h o ffer was lodged at NORCOR. -MCSO received a report from H ood R iver Sheriff’s Office that Antonio Palacios Bolanos, 28, was arrested on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay F in e /D riv in g w hile License Suspended. Bolanos was lodged at NORCOR. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon of loud music next door. The subjects were warned and the music was turned down. Dec. 25: Boardman P olice D ept, re c eiv e d a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman of a suspicious v eh icle. Jo rg e F id e n c io Ramirez, 37, was cited for Violation of Posted Truck Route. -B oardm an Police D ept, o ffic e r a rre sted Michael James Wilson, 49, for DUII. He was cited and re le ase d to appear. The vehicle was impounded. -MCSO, Boardman P olice D ept, re ceiv ed a report of 20 cows out on the south side of the freeway. -B oardm an Police Dept, officer cited a male juvenile for Violation of the Basic Rule, 41 mph in a 25 mph zone, Failure to Carry P ro o f o f In su ran ce, and given a warning for Failure to Carry Driver’s License. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a request from a caller in Boardman for a w elfare check on a female subject. -B oardm an Police D ept, o ffic e r cite d Jose S an ch ez S alas, 33, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 40 mph in a 20 mph zone- School Zone. -M C SO , H eppner ambulance received a report from a caller in Lexington of a 63 year old female who had been ill and vomiting and lost consciousness. Dec. 26: Boardman ambulance received a report from a caller in Boardman of a semi-conscious juvenile w ho w as p o ssib ly intoxicated. - B o a r d m a n ambulance received a report of a motor vehicle accident victim with neck pain. The patient was transported to G ood S hepherd M edical Center in Hermiston. -B oardm an Police Dept, officer cited Victor Francisco Barajas Rosas, 24, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 52 mph in a 45 mph zone and Failure to Display License Plate. -B oardm an Police Dept, officer cited David Todd N eum an, 46, fo r Violation of the Speed Limit, 80 mph in a 65 mph zone. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a request for a welfare check from a caller in Boardman for a juvenile that was possibly involved in an MIP party the previous night. A ntonio C o n treas Lopez, 27, was arrested for Reckless Endangering and F urnishing A lcohol to a Minor. The vehicle was impounded. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a Ben Transit vehicle w as u n a tte n d ed at the Irrigon Shell station. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner that she fell and couldn't get up. -MCSO received a report from the Hermiston P o lice D ept, th at D ana Willis, 42, was arrested on a M orrow C o u n ty C irc u it Court warrant for Theft II. -MCSO deputy cited Nathan Craig Anderson, 25, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO received a request for a welfare check from a caller in Irrigon for a juvenile possibly involved in an accident last night. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in B oardm an w ho found a garbage can and took it to the dump. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that the 35 mph sign was down in front of the Oasis RV Park on Highway 730.
