Heppner Highway roadwork begins Oregon Department of T ran sp o rta tio n maintenance crews began work Monday, Aug. 22, on a 22 m ile-long chip seal project along the Heppner H ighw ay (OR 74). The project will begin two miles south of lone at mile point 30 and extend north to the Morrow County line at mile point 8.44. The w ork is expected to be completed by Aug. 31. Heppner Booster Club to hold auction and steak feed The H eppner Booster Club will be holding their annual auction and steak feed on Saturday, Oct. 15.
