Heppner Highway roadwork begins

work Monday, Aug. 22, on
a 22 m ile-long chip seal
project along the Heppner
H ighw ay (OR 74). The
project will begin two miles
south of lone at mile point
30 and extend north to the
Morrow County line at mile
point 8.44. The w ork is
expected to be completed by
Aug. 31.
The p ro ject w ill
result in loose gravel on the
Morrow County, Heppner, Oregon road and delays of up to 20

filed had over 18 signatures
each, but they have not yet
been verified.

to hold
auction and
steak feed

H eppner
Booster Club will be holding
their annual auction and
steak feed on Saturday, Oct.
15.
D onations for the
auction are currently being
accepted. Donated items can
range from gift certificates to
locally crafted items to go in
a special “Made in Heppner”
basket. A log bed. crafted by
Chuck Matteson. will once
again be up for grabs.
