M CSO, Boardman P olice D ept, received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a subject with a board is smashing windows across from a motel in Irrigon. A male subject was arrested on Probable Cause charges o f U n au th o rized U se o f a M otor Vehicle, Crim inal M ischief I (x2), Criminal T resp ass II, T heft II, Possession o f a Controlled S u b stan ce II, R esisting A rrest and A ttem pted Escape II. The subject was also arrested on a Hermiston Police Dept, warrant. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail on the MCSO charges with holds placed for Hermiston Police Dept. B oardm an Police Dept officer cited Santiago R ojas Sanchez, 21, for Failure to Display Plates MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f shots fired in the area; before the shots were fired there were people arguing M CSO received a hang-up 911 call from a residence in Irrigon. On call back it was determined the phone does not accept incoming phone calls. It was determined to be a domestic dispute and a male subject was leaving the residence for the night. M CSO received a re p o rt from a caller in Heppner who was fighting w ith her b o y friend; the boyfriend locked her out of the residence. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon of an intoxicated male driver M CSO received a report o f an audible alarm at a location in Irrigon. M CSO received a re p o rt from a caller in B oardm an o f a Social Security check being taken and cashed. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f a theft o f money. MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f a rental vehicle speeding in a school zone MCSO deputy cited Catalina Cruz Pimentel, 33, for Driving while License Suspended Violation M CSO received a report from a caller o f cock fighting on Wagon Wheel Loop, Irrigon. The female subject advised she was at the location to pick up a table that belonged to her sister. MCSO deputy cited Scott Ray Bass, 22, on an Irrig o n Ju stice C o u rt warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/MIP by Consumption. He was cited and released to appear. MCSO deputy cited Fredrick Christian Bennett, 24, for V iolation o f the Speed Limit, 51 mph in a 35 mph zone. MCSO deputy cited G u illerm o E rm elin d so Castro, 38, for Driving while L icense Suspended Violation, No Insurance and Violation o f the Basic Rule, 71 mph in a 55 mph zone M CSO received a report from the Umatilla Police Dept that a male subject was arrested on an Irrig o n Ju stice C o u rt w arrant for Contem pt o f Court/MIP by Consumption The subject was cited and released to appear M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f a possible drunk driver; the vehicle was parked at a residence in Irrigon M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f a suspicious vehicle at the Grain Growers June 12: M CSO, B o ardm an am bulance received a request for an ambulance from a caller in Boardman o f a male subject experiencing chest pains The patient was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston B oardm an P olice Dept, received a hang-up 911 call from a location in Boardman (, MCSO received a re p o rt o f a vehicle in Boardman that was blocking an access road M CSO received a request for information from a caller in Heppner regarding the no-contact order that had been placed on her husband M CSO deputy arrested Donald Ray Wright, 38, fo r Possession o f a D estructive Device (pipe bomb) MCSO received a re p o rt from a caller in Heppner o f several rolls o f buffalo nickels stolen from his home Man killed in collision A Hermiston man, Mark Richardson, was killed when a collision occurred on Potlatch Farms on Friday, June 10, at approximately 6:15 a m. This in cid en t occurred when a water truck being operated by 46-year- old R ichardson o f H erm iston struck a log truck, being operated by 23- year-old Jared Wilson o f Lexington. R ichardson was pronounced deceased at the scene. The location o f the collision was approximately one mile east o f Pole Line R oad, south o f 1-84 in M orrow County. Both vehicles are ow ned and operated by sub-contractors working on the farm The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance from the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office, is investigating the incident. 4-H News The DIY Kids Bv Shadow Kendrick * The DIY Kids 4-H group met June 9 at Valby Church. They learned how to sew quilt patches The ones that helped them sew are B etty C arlson, D onna Thompson, Kim Thompson, Linda Halvorsen and our leader, Sara Carlson. At noon the members had sack lunches and then got back to work When we were done we to o k pictures o f the quilts. At our meeting, our tre a su re r rep o rted our checking account balance was $142.75. Wow. We talked about a lemonade stand at the Fourth o f July. O ur next meeting, July 6, we will bring fabric and scissors We are going to make PJs and will bring sack lunches again M em bers, d o n ’t forget fair registration is due July 15.
