Man killed in
collision
A Hermiston man,
Mark Richardson, was killed
when a collision occurred on
Potlatch Farms on Friday,
June 10, at approximately
6:15 a m. This in cid en t
occurred when a water truck
being operated by 46-year-
old
R ichardson o f
H erm iston struck a log
truck, being operated by 23-
year-old Jared Wilson o f
Lexington.
R ichardson was
pronounced deceased at the
scene.
The location o f the
collision was approximately
one mile east o f Pole Line
R oad, south o f 1-84 in
M orrow County. Both
vehicles are ow ned and
operated by sub-contractors
working on the farm
The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office, with the
assistance from the Umatilla
County Sheriff’s Office, is
investigating the incident.
