EIGHT- Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, July 21,2004 Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) re ports handling the following business: -MCSO received a request for a welfare check on a m ale subject at his w ife’s home in lone. The caller hadn’t had any contact from the subject in three weeks and to forward the information to Tri-Comm. -MCSO received a report o f an ab andoned vehicle on the north end of Seventh Street in Irrigon on C orps o f E n g in e e rs’ property. The vehicle was tagged for tow. -MCSO deputy cited Roy E. G utsche, 74, for V iolation o f the Speed Limit, 83 mph in a 65 mph zone. -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Irrigon to report a stolen bicycle. -MCSO deputy cited Elizabeth M. The son was staying with a subject in lone. -M C SO deputy advised units were at the Outback Apts, in Boardman attem p tin g to lo cate a subject who may have been involved in an assault that occurred last night. Units were unable to locate the subject. -MCSO received a relayed report from a caller in B oardm an o f five Hispanic male juveniles on bicycles hitting the digital speed sign on Kinkade. A deputy was unable to locate the juveniles. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Irrigon that a male subject cam e into the residence, took a snake and went to another residence. It was d eterm in ed the c aller doesn’t live at the residence and the owner didn’t want to press charges. The report was unfounded. -MCSO received a report from the manager of Oasis RV Park that juveniles v an d alized the public bathroom at the park. -MCSO received a report from a caller at the Irrigon 76 station that she and her boyfriend got into a fight and now he won’t let her get her things from their residence. A p ril 21: MCSO, H erm iston am bulance received a request for an ambulance from a caller in Lexington for a 56-year-old q u a d rip le g ic w ho was experiencing confusion. -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept, receiv ed a report of alarm activation at M J’s Labor Contractors. It was determined to be a false alarm and all was okay. -MCSO deputy cited Chad Brenton Balfanz, 31, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 83 mph in a 65 mph zone. -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Boardman regarding trading her horse for work done on her pickup and now she can’t get either the horse or the vehicle back. -MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a 911 from a resid en ce in Boardman. No one was on the line. It was determined it was a misdial and all was okay. -MCSO deputy cited Jose Villegas Vallejo, 47, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO. Boardman P olice D ept, receiv ed a report of a motion alarm at the Bank of Eastern Oregon in B oardm an. It was d eterm in ed it was the cleaning lady and all was okay. -MCSO received a walk-in report in Heppner from a male subject who reported his ex-girlfriend keeps calling his residence and harassing him and his girlfriend; she also keeps coming onto the property after she was asked not to. A deputy c o n tact was requested or “someone is going to jail tonight if she calls again.” -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept, receiv ed a request for an ambulance from a caller in Boardman for a 45-year-old female who took an overdose of X anax. The p atien t was tra n sp o rte d to G ood Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston.
