Eric Skaggs kicked the extra point to m ake it 19-0. Palm er intercepted a pass and the Ponies ran out the clock taking a 19-0 lead at halftime. After the Ponies were forced to punt on their opening drive o f the second h a lf they tackled the Tigers for losses on th re e s tr a ig h t p la y s a n d Michael Wellman blocked the ensuing punt with the Ponies taking over on the six-yard line. The Tigers recovered the onside kick, but Palm er intercepted his second pass to end the game. T he center uses Quarter Horse geldings, many w ith ranching and rodeo backgrounds. “O ur therapy horses are w ithout a doubt the m ost im p o rta n t e le m e n t o f ou r program ,” said Sheri Lynn M iller, executive director o f W e s te rn T r a ils . “ We appreciate the generosity o f Wal-Mart and the community.
