June 16-20. The parade will be held at 11 a.m. Local musicians, Jeff E y n e tic h , Jim L o g an and Dustin Padberg will open the music celebration w ith music at 7 p .m .,o n J u ly 3 . July 4 music will begin at 3 p.m., with headliners for the event being Eddie Kirkland a n d M ich ael B u rk s. A lso perform ing will be Joanne C onnors and Jim m y Lloyd R ay. T h e b a n d s a re a ls o headliners for Portland Blues Festival. E d d ie K ir k la n d performs a range o f styles from old-style delta blues to R&B to reggae. He has been in the music business for around 50 years. M ichael B urks w as touted as a child prodigy who grew up playing in his family’s Arkansas roadhouse. He then put his guitar aside and took on a “ 9 -to -5 ” jo b , b e fo re deciding to return to m usic. Jo an n e C o n n o r began her career back in 1984 and has been perform ing ever since. She pens m any o f her ow n songs and enhances her guitar playing w ith “ im passioned” vocals. Jim m y Lloyd Ray a fam iliar face at the B lues Festival will once again join in the celebration. He will also be bringing a couple o f other b lu es m u sic ia n s from the Portland area. Ray recently had a kidney transplant and his body reje cte d the kidney, w h ich c a u se d sp e cu la tio n a b o u t h is a tt e n d a n c e , however, he pulled through and will be in lone. O ne o f R ay’s known hits is “G oing Back to Baker City.” Children gather to register for St. Patrick's/St. William's religious vacation school. G ribble has already begun working on a slightly improved m odel that should be a little easier to use than his first. G ribble has been a tro u b le s h o o te r fo r m an y industrial companies, such as Boise Cascade, PGE, etc., as well as the U.S. Coast Guard.
