T he vehicle was im pounded and towed. -M C SO , B oardm an P o lic e D e p t., B o a rd m a n am bulance received a report from a caller in lone o f seeing several flashlights and vehicles in his field. O ne vehicle was sto p p e d on th e B o m b in g Range Road and the other v e h ic le w a s lo c a te d on H ighw ay 207, it had run out o f gasoline. An am bulance responded to the B om bing R a n g e lo c a tio n f o r tw o subjects complaining o f neck, a rm a n d b a c k p a in . T h e patients w ere transported to G o o d S h e p h e rd M e d ic a l C enter in H erm iston. N oah Daley Weatherford, 27, Daniel R ichard Sow ell, 33, and a male juvenile were arrested on charges o f Possession o f a Precursor, and lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. -M C S O , O re g o n State Police received a report o f a d is a b le d v e h ic le on Highway 207 with a male and fe m a le w a lk in g to w a rd s Hermiston. It was determined this was a vehicle involved in the previous report. -M C SO , Irrigon Fire Dept, received a report o f a sm oke detector sounding at A .C. H oughton Elem entary S ch o o l in Irrig o n . It w as determined to be a false alarm. -M C S O receiv ed a report from a caller that he had g iv e n a rid e to a fe m a le subject walking on Highway 207. She said she and a male subject ran out o f gasoline (this w as the vehicle in a previous report); the m ale subject left her and she w as w alking to Hermiston. The female subject left her ID in the caller’s vehicle a n d he b ro u g h t it to th e sheri fTs office. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in Heppner that people w ere throw ing garbage and yard w aste up and dow n Fuller Canyon. An extra patrol was requested. -M C SO , B oardm an Police Dept, received a report o f an audible alarm at the Boardm an Fire Dept. It w as determined all was okay. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report o f a disabled vehicle on 1-84 w ith its hood up and a flare near the vehicle. -M C S O receiv ed a report o f a vehicle w ithout taillights going 50 m ph on I- 84 westbound. -M C SO , B oardm an F ire D e p t., B o a rd m a n am bulance received a report o f a van on fire o ff o f 1-84. The vehicle was located and the fire already out. - M C S O , O re g o n State Police received a report o f a v e h ic le s p e e d in g e x c e s s iv e ly on 1-84 eastbound. -M C S O d e p u tie s arrested Tim othy G Foster, 3 4 , fo r P o s s e s s io n o f a C ontrolled Substance and on a d e ta in e r w a rra n t o u t o f D e s c h u te s C o u n ty . F e b . 24: M C SO re ceived a request from a caller for a deputy to check the area for unknow n subjects w ho w ere knocking and running from the door. -M C S O receiv ed a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Irrigon regard ing n e ig h b o r’s cow s on the caller’s property again. -M C S O receiv ed a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Hermiston re garding the c a lle r’s sister. It was determ ined all was okay and the w om an w as advised to call her sister. - M C S O , O re g o n State Police, H eppner am bu lances, lone EMTs received a report o f a one vehicle rollover a c c id e n t on H ig h w a y 74. T hree subjects w ere tran s ported by private vehicle to a nearby location to m eet the am bulance. T hree patients w ere transported to Pioneer M e m o r ia l H o s p ita l in Heppner. -M C SO deputy cited N a th a n E d w a rd W a rre n Talbert, 27, for Driving while License Suspended Violation. -M C S O , H e p p n e r and Arlington ambulances re ceived a request for an am bu lance from a caller in lone for a 23-year-old diabetic m ale w ho w as unresponsive. No transport w as made. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in lone o f the theft o f a flashlight, gaso line hose and pump. -M C S O , O r e g o n State Police, B oardm an Po lice Dept, received a report from a caller that a vehicle was passing him on the right and slam m ing on his brakes. The vehicle took the Boardm an exit -M C S O receiv ed a report from a caller in Irrigon that a vehicle passed her at a high rate o f speed at the Wag on W heel Addition. -M C S O receiv ed a r e q u e s t fro m a c a lle r in H eppner for deputy contact; tw o other juveniles w ere ha rassing the caller’s daughter. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from Hermiston Police D e p t, th a t J a v ie r P e d ro Bustamante, 20, was arrested on a M orrow County Circuit Court warrant for Fail ure to A ppear/U nauthorized Entry o f a M otor Vehicle, A t tem pt to Elude and Theft III. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. -M C S O , O r e g o n State Police received a report o f a speeding vehicle going 80+ m ph on 1-84 eastbound. -M C SO , O D O T re ceived a report o f a burning post on a guardrail on 1-84 w estbound. O D O T w ent to check on the post. -M C S O , O re g o n State Police received a report from a caller o f an erratic driv er on 1-84 w estbound w ho was swerving in both lanes and going various speeds. M ary A nn H ancock, 46, w as cited for DUII (BAC .21). The ve hicle was towed. -M C S O receiv ed a report from Hermiston Police D e p t, th a t J o h n E d w a rd Stam ate, 36, was arrested on a M orrow C ou n ty C ircu it Court warrant for Harassment. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report o f a suspicious tw o- tone pickup driving around lo cal farms. F e b . 25: M C SO re ceived a report from a caller o f two male subjects trespass ing on private property. They were driving a two-tone pick up with an air tank in the back. The subjects left on Highway 207 northbound. -M C S O receiv ed a report from a caller that she was cut o ffb y a truck pulling out in front o f her at the old Kinzua mill site. -B o a rd m a n P o lic e D ept, o ffic e r c ite d L u cas M ichael M yhre, 18, for Fail ure to C arry P ro o f o f Insur ance and N o O p erato r’s Li cense. -M C SO , B oardm an Fire Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardm an o f a fire out o f control, w ith a horse trailer possibly involved. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report o f ID theft; another man was using the subject's name and social security num ber to get insurance and other things. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report o f cattle out on the roadw ay at K unze and W il son. A deputy w as unable to locate the cattle. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in Heppner that the DMV official made her fail a test on purpose. The call er was upset and possibly in toxicated. Deputy contact was requested. Another report was m ade by a bystander that the caller was harassing the DM V official. -M C S O receiv ed a report from a caller in Heppner Ione track teams travels to Pre-District Track Meet O n M ay 10, 2003 the lone C a r d in a ls T ra c k T e a m s traveled to M oro for the Pre- District Track Meet. This meet includes all teams from 2A and 1A in our district. T he C ardinal Boys finshed 2nd overall with a total o f 87.3 Points. The Lady C ardinals finshed 7th. The C ardinal Boys w ere led by A n d rew R ietm ann. A ndrew finshed 1st in the 100m D ash w ith a tim e o f 11:38, he also finshed 1st in the 200m Dash with a time o f 23:02, and 1st in the 400m D ash w ith a tim e o f 52:63. Cayle Krebs finshed 3rd in the Shot Put w ith a throw o f 43- 0, he also finshed 2nd in the Discus with a throw o f 125-4. M ike Radie finshed 3rd in the 200m D ash w ith a tim e o f 24:01 ,he also finshed 4th in the 100m D ash w ith a tim e o f 11:96. N ick C hristm an finshed 3rd in the H igh Jum p w ith a jum p o f 5-6. Til Tullís finshed 4th in the 110m Hurdles with a tim e o f 1 8 :7 3 . K e lly Thom pson finshed 4th in The High Jum p with a ju m p o f 5- that she will be going to court on the 911 line, then she hung up. -M C S O rec e iv e d a r e q u e s t fro m a c a lle r in H eppner for the direct line to the Sheriffs Office. The num ber was given to her. -M C S O receiv ed a report o f an abandoned vehi cle in Irrigon; it looked it had been trashed. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report that H arold R ichard Snyder, 24, w as arrested on an Irrigon Justice Court w ar rant for Failure to A ppear/ D riving w hile License Sus p e n d e d , a n d a rr e s te d on U C SO and Parole and Pro b a tio n w a rra n ts . H e w a s lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. -M C S O , O re g o n State Police received a report o f a bull on 1-84 eastbound. The possible ow ner was con tacted. -M C S O receiv ed a report from a caller in Heppner that the DM V still has her birth certificate from earlier. A dep uty contact w as requested. -M C SO , O D O T re ceived a report o f a dead deer on H ighw ay 74 a few m iles north o f the old K inzua mill. The deer w as rem oved. -M C S O receiv ed a request for an ambulance from a caller in Heppner for her hus band w ho w as having a p os sible stroke. The caller asked if dispatch w anted to talk to her husband. T he husband advised he w as fine, walking and talking and refused trans port. He said he would call lat er if he needed assistance. -M C S O receiv ed a report from a caller in Heppner that his father would not leave the caller’s residence. The fa ther left. -M C S O , O re g o n State Police received a report o f a possible DUII on 1-84 westbound; a van pulling a U- H aul trailer w as unable to maintain the lane. The 1600m Relay Team o f N ick C hristm an, Billy Ross, C ody B ergstrom and M ike Radie finshed 5th with a time o f 4:05. For the Lady C ardinals, th e y w e re le d by D ia n a McElligott, who finshed 1 st in the 100m Dash with a tim e o f 12:65, she also finshed 1 st in the 200m Dash with a tim e o f 26:46, and 1st in the 400m D ash w ith a tim e o f 1:00. Missy Baker finshed 8th in the Shot Put w ith a throw o f 28- 9. Kim M orris finshed 6th in the High Jump with a jum p o f 4-6. Eva Chitty finshed 5th in the 400m Dash with a time o f 1:06. A shley G ram s finshed 3rd in the 300M Hurdles with a tim e o f 53:76. The vehicle was im pounded. -M C S O , O reg o n State Police officers arrested Paul H enry W elch, 41, on an O akridge Police Dept, w ar rant for Probation Violation/Hit and R un/ P olice Vehicle A t tem pt Elude, C rim inal M is c h ie f and on Junction City w arrants. H e w as lodged at N O R C O R . His vehicle w as impounded. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller o f a pos- sible fight that w as to o c c u r' later today in Boardman. The caller called back and said the situation was resolved. -M C S O rec e iv e d a report from a caller in Irrigon that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. -M C S O rec e iv e d a rep o rt from a c a lle r from Umatilla County Children Ser vices that she received a phone call from a missing juvenile out o f M orrow County. The juve nile was staying at a siste r’s residence in Salem. -M CSO , Irrigon Fire Dept, received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f burning tires in Irrigon. -M C SO , B oardm an Police Dept, received a report o f an audible burglar alarm at M archelle’s R estau rant in Boardm an. It w as de term ined all w as okay; the ow ner was on the scene. -M C SO deputy cited Ephren Espinoza, 29, for No O p e ra to r’s License, O perat ing with Non-Standard Equip ment and Failure to Carry Reg istration.
