Josh Lankford scored five points, including a 3-pointer. VanCleave had 12 points w ith Kilkenny finishing with nine and Lankford with six. M ustang “C ” team breezes by Rockets By Rick Paullus The H eppner M ustang “ C ” team ran out to a 25-8 halftime lead and breezed by the visiting Pilot Rock Rockets 64- 38 on T hursday, D ec. 19 to im prove their record to 4-1 on the year. The M ustangs got three points from Dan Basile in the first taking a 10-1 lead after one and five points from Mikel Britt and four from Matthew VanCleave in taking the 25-8 halftime lead. R oy P ro c to r hit a 3- pointer and scored five points and VanCleave four as the Mustangs extended their lead to 43-18 after three. K yle Carlson scored six points. Matt Kenny and Proctor four, as the M ustangs coasted through the fourth finally winning 64-38. Carlson and Proctor led the M ustangs balanced scoring effort w ith nine points each with Kenny, VanCleave and Britt each s c o rin g e ig h t p o in ts . O D O T adv ised that they would like vehicle impounded because it w as a road hazard; clearance was given for an early pick-up. -M CSO, Boardman PD and ambulance received a report o f a fire alarm activation from the m ain panel. T he alarm w as canceled two minutes later. -M C S O r e c e iv e d a report from a caller in Irrigon that neighborhood dogs had killed his chickens. -Hermiston PD arrested Jesse M unkers, 21, on an IJC warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/ D riv in g w h ile S u s p e n d e d . It w as d e te r m ined to be an em ployee error. -M C SO received a re quest for a deputy contact from a caller in Irrigon regarding an unw anted male subject. The sub ject left the caller’s residence but she d id n 't w ant him com ing around. -M C S O , Irrigon Fire Dept, received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f an 18-month- old child locked in a vehicle. -M C SO received a re port from a caller in Irrigon o f a vehicle in the area driving at a high rate o f speed. -M C S O d ep u ty cited Jennifer Sarah Vasseur Rosgen, 28, for Exceeding the M aximum Speed Lim it, 80 m ph in a 65 mph zone. -M C S O d e p u ty cited Lyle Daniel Smith, 26, for Driv ing w hile License Suspended- M isdem eanor. The vehicle was impounded. -M C S O , B o a rd m a n Police Dept, received a report from a caller that she was pushed and kicked by a m ale subject. The subject fled on foot. William C harles Reed, 23, was arrested for Assault IV-Felony and M en acing. He w as lodged at the Umatilla C ounty Jail. -M C S O , B o a rd m a n Police Dept, received a report from a caller that her neighbor’s children cam e to her residence and said they w itnessed an as sault. Cynthia Lee Olson, 42, was arrested for A ttem pted M urder and Discharging a Firearm in City Lim its.
