Aug. 3: -MCSO received a report from a caller that there were three subjects inside the old gym nasium in Heppner. It was determined they had permission to be there. -M C S O received a report from a caller in Heppner o f loud noise and banging. A deputy ad vised the subjects to keep it down. -M CSO deputy cited Antho ny Jam es H iatt, 19, for DUII (BAC .13) and another charge. He was cited and released. The vehicle was towed. -MCSO, Oregon State Police, Boardman Police Dept, received PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET HEARING Use for supplemental budget proposing an increase in a fund o f 10 percent or more. A public hearing on a proposed supplemental budget for City o f Heppner, Morrow State o f Oregon, for the fiscal year July 1, 2002 to June 30, 2003 will be held at 188 NW Willow Street. The hearing will take place on the 14th day o f October, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose o f the hearing is to discuss the supplemental budget with interested persons. Timothy Ray M atheny, 42, was arrested for Burglary I, Theft I. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail, with $32,300 bail. -Boardman Police Dept, of ficer cited Alejo Fuentes Lopez, 20, for Driving U ninsured and Failure to Register Vehicle. -M C SO receiv ed a report from a caller in lone o f a smol dering fire near Highway 74 mile post 2. It was advised that the fire has been sm oldering since the original bum and would be re checked. -MCSO deputy cited James Richard Riggin, 64, for Violation o f the Basic Rule, 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. -M CSO received a request for a welfare check from a caller in Irrigon on an elderly male in a wheelchair on the bike path be tween the Post Office and grade school. It was determined all was okay. -MCSO deputy cited Mario Gabriel Pacheco Mendoza, 20, for Violation o f the Basic Rule, 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. -M CSO , Boardm an Police and Fire depts. received a report o f a grass fire along the railroad tracks in B oardm an. U m atilla Electric and Union Pacific were also notified. -M CSO , Boardm an Police Dept, received a report o f a fight in progress in the parking lot at the Port o f Morrow in Boardman. Aug, 4; -MCSO deputy ar rested Felipe Morales Raya, 47, for DUII (BAC .16). The vehi cle was towed. -M C S O d e p u ty a rre ste d Gabriel Mendoza-Aranda, 23, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/Fumish- ing Alcohol to a Minor. The sub ject was cited and released. -M C SO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that his wife and six year old daughter had left for the Hermiston Wal-Mart early the previous evening but had not returned yet. The wife called a few minutes later. No further action needed to be taken. -MCSO, Heppner ambulance received a request for an ambu lance in Heppner for a female subject in her 80s who was hav ing trouble breathing. The patient was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston. -MCSO, Oregon State Police received a report o f an erratic driver on 1-84 eastbound. -MCSO, Oregon State Police received a report from a caller from Gresham that her boyfriend, who lives in Portland, was sup pose to be at the National Guard in Pendleton but was missing. A M issing P ersons R eport w as filed. -M CSO received a request for a deputy in Irrigon regarding a verbal custody dispute. -M CSO received a report o f an audible burglar alarm at a res idence in Irrigon. It was deter mined a subject was picking up items from a yard sale; all was okay. The pa tient was transported to G ood S h ep h erd M ed ica l C e n te r in Hermiston. -M C SO receiv ed a report from a caller in Irrigon that a dog with tags showed up at his resi dence. The caller called the num ber on the tags; it was a number for a v eterin arian . The caller wanted to know what to do with the dog. The caller was advised that MCSO couldn’t do anything and to wait for the vet to call him back. -M C SO re ceiv ed a report from Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office that Bradley James Miller, 23, was arrested on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/Criminal M ischief II, Reckless Driving. He was lodged at the Deschutes County Jail, with $2086 bail. -M CSO deputy cited Steven Charles Geiger, 41, for Exceed ing the Maximum Speed Limit, 83 mph in a 65 mph zone. -M CSO received a request for a deputy to respond to a two- vehicle, non-injury accident in Irrigon. -M C SO received a report from a caller in Heppner o f a dog on the caller’s property again; the caller wanted a citation issued this time. -M CSO received a report o f a cold burglary in Boardman that happened this morning. -M C SO re ceiv ed a report from a caller in Irrigon that some one entered her house this m orn ing and took a white bicycle. -M C SO re ceiv ed a report from a business in Heppner that a glassy-eyed male subject pur chased Muratic Acid, which was listed as a drug precursor on a fly er that the Oregon State Police had handed out. N oah Joseph B ird , 19, w as a rre s te d on a Corvallis Municipal warrant for Failure to Appear/MIP-Alcohol. He was cited and released. Cary Randall Grove, 42, was arrested for Possession o f Precursor with Intent, there was also a hold on a Lincoln City Parole and Probation D e te n tio n w a rra n t.
