Published: July 3, 2002 Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reports handling the following business: April 16: MCSO, Oregon State Police received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a male and female were fighting. The couple was separated in different rooms in the apartment at the time of the report. -MCSO, Oregon State Police received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a male subject was causing problems at the caller’s location. The male subject had called in a report earlier, but ac cording to the current caller, the male subject was the one caus ing problems and was very disor derly. The male subject was to be evicted and a patrol recommend ed in the area during that time. -MCSO, Oregon State Police received a report of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the north bound lane on Highway 207 four miles north of Lexington. The vehicle had no lights due to a dead battery and the driver had to break out a window to get out of the vehicle as it had electric locks. A tow truck was notified. It was determined the driver was not in toxicated. -Boardman Police Dept, of ficer cited Ian A. Sloane, 31, for Failure to Obey Traffic Control » Device and Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a speeding vehicle with a woman driver almost hit four children standing at a bus stop; the vehi cle did hit the caller’s cat. The driver stopped, looked under the car, sped away, then returned in a few minutes and sped past again heading towards Patterson's Ferry. The caller was unable to locate the cat. -MCSO received a report that the previous day a male subject came to the Irrigon Justice Court demanding contact with a deputy f regarding getting his license back. His vehicle had been impounded earlier. The subject was advised that the phones were down and a deputy could not be contacted.
