SIX - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, May 3, 2000 Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff s Office (MCSO) reports handling the following business: -BPD received request for an officer from a woman who says her 15-year-old son wouldn't listen to her. March 16: HPD received several calls regarding harassment and cited Cindy Lou Marie Penturf, 35, Carmen Fae Wilson, 45, Steve Wilson, 24, Mindy L. Binschus, 19, a 15- year-old juvenile and Diana Sharp, 25. -MCSO received report of an injured deer on 1-84 that needed to be put down. -Heppner Ambulance received request for ambulance for a male having trouble breathing. One was transported to PMH -BPD received report from a woman that her husband's son is driving a pickup registered in her and her husband's name without insurance or a license. The woman and her husband were in the process of a divorce. -HPD received report from a woman that her husband is leaving the courthouse and is suspended. -MCSO received report of a dog hanging around the C- Store in Lexington all morning. -MCSO received report of a car dolly stolen from Hwy. 74. -MCSO received report of a house in Imgon with very strong smells coming from lt- possibly methamphetamines. -MCSO received report from an Imgon woman that her son was being abusive toward her and she wanted him removed from the house. -MCSO received request for a Gilliam County Sheriffs Office deputy to assist with a possible Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. -Oceanside Police .Department arrested Fidel Ramirez de la Cruz, 52, on a Morrow County Circuit Court Warrant for Parole Violations/ Delivery of a Controlled Substance B Felony and an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for providing false information to a police officer. Subject was arrested in Oceanside, CA with $1,237 bail. March 17: BPD, MCSO, Boardman Fire Department received report of a car on fire in front of Boardman residence. -MCSO received report of a vehicle behind a shop in Heppner with flashers on. -MCSO received report from the Outback Apts, that more fake ID's were found from an individual who has been making them. Caller requested that an officer pick them up. -BPD received report from a woman who said there were two Rottweillers in her yard and she wanted them removed. -OSP received report of a Ford Taurus traveling at 80 plus mph with a child not buckled in and crawling around -OSP arrested John Anthony Muniz, 21, on a Morrow County Justice Court warrant for Failure To Pay Fine. He was cited and released with $412 fine. -OSP received request to deliver a message to a man that his son was in the hospital in critical condition in Arizona. -MCSO received report of vandalism to trees on the 1-84 Patterson Ferry exit. -MCSO received report of boys breaking into a trailer at the Imgon Mobile Court. -MCSO received report of a red Geo Metro swerving and speeding in Irrigon. -MCSO received report of a civil problem concerning a mobile home sold and appliances not paid for, nor returned. -MCSO received request for deputy from an Irrigon woman show who said her ex- husband is calling and making threats against her and she has a stalking order against him. -MCSO deputy assisted a citizen with auto problems in removing the vehicle from the road. -MCSO received report from a male subject that he had gotten a female driver to pull over after observing her wild driving. He had her keys. It was a possible DUII at Patterson Ferry Rd. next to the freeway. -BPD received report of a custody dispute in Boardman. -Heppner FD received report of a house on fire in Heppner. -HPD received report of a border collie found at a Heppner residence. -Heppner Amb. received request from PMH to transport to the Lexington air field. -MCSO received report of a vehicle speeding at the Imgon Manna. -MCSO received request from a man staying in lone that the MCSO contact the Portland PD to check his Portland residence. His neighbor called him and threatened to flatten the tires on his vehicles in his drive. Portland PD checked and everything was ok. -MCSO received report from an Imgon woman that she thought someone was breaking into her neighbor's jeep and they were out of town. March 18: MCSO received report from a MCSO deputy that he was out with two vehicles on Hwy. 730 with a single vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle that rolled had fallen asleep. -MCSO received request for deputy from an Imgon man who said his 76-year old father was very upset and accused him of stealing from him. -HPD received report of a car parked at old Chevron station and the car couldn't park there. Space was reserved for the Senior Center for the St. Patrick's Parade. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman about loud music played late at night and early in the morning. -MCSO received report from a Hermiston woman that her 14-year-old daughter went to a party in Imgon and didn't come home. -Heppner City received request for water to be hooked up for Kessler's at the City Park. -MCSO received report from a Hermiston woman in a previous entry that her daughter called after staying the night at an Imgon residence and would be given a ride home. -HPD. received report form Corbin's Bowl that cars are parked in their parking lot that aren't customers. -MCSO received request for extra patrol at an Irrigon residence. -MCSO received report of five calves missing in Irrigon. -BFD, BPD received report of fire alarm at Logan International. It was a false alarm. -HPD received report from a woman that a male subject was violating a stalking order. -BPD received a 911 hang up call. It was dialed by mistake. -MCSO received report of a lot of kids skateboarding, running and rollerblading in the street at California and Idaho in Irrigon. -Heppner Amb. received report of a male down at St. Patrick's Parish Hall. He was transported to PMH -BPD received a 911 hang up call. -MCSO, HPD, received report of two cars full of teens smoking and possibly with alcohol in Heppner. -MCSO received report of two-three kids inside the R & W Drive-In at 11:15 p.m.. They was relatives of the owners. -MCSO, BPD received report of an MIP party. Corgy James Koertje, 18, Brandon Thomas Ratchford, 18, Jesus Manuel Martinez, 18, Oscar R. Cota, 19, a 17-year-old juvenile and a 15-year-old juvenile were cited for MIP. Hector Pacheco, 26, was cited for furnishing alcohol to minors. -MCSO received report of drug activity at Columbia View Apts, in Boardman with a lot of activity day and night. -MCSO deputy reported he was at a residence for a disturbance. -HPD received report from a Heppner woman that an unknown male subject appeared to be "out" on her front porch. He was given a ride home to his proper residence. -OSP, MCSO received report from a Boardman woman that her husband left home to go to work at 2:20 a.m. but hadn't shown up at 4 a.m.. He was located walking on 1-84. He had run out of gas. Deputy gave him a ride home. -MCSO, BPD, Boardman Ambulance received request for ambulance from a female who said her mother was experiencing an anxiety attack which triggered her asthma because her cat was hit by a car. There was no transport. -MCSO received request for an ambulance at the Morrow County Fairgrounds for a 19 year old female whose horse fell on her. The woman, who was conscious and breathing, had abdominal pain and vomiting, was transported to PMH then airlifted out. -MCSO received report from a Irrigon woman who earlier reported loud music at a residence that she wanted to talk to the subject first. -MCSO received report of vandalism on Pioneer Resource land. -MCSO received request to check about stray dogs that have been coming on the caller's property and eating cat food off the porch. -BPD arrested Donald Scott Watson, 47, Aloha, on an Imgon Justice Court warrant for Theft III. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $1,500 bail. -MCSO deputy advised he was out with a hitchhiker on Hwy. 730. -MCSO arrested Terry Lee Bursell, Jr, 24, on an IJC warrant for FTPF/Angling Prohibited Methods. Bail was $72. -BPD received report of an automobile accident on Anderson Rd. A car had rolled out of a drive into another yard through the fence. The matter was handled civilly. M arch 20: HFD received report of a fire alarm at 12:22 a.m. at Heppner High School. HFD was unable to locate anything. -HFD received another fire alarm at 6:33 a.m. at HHS. It was a false alarm. -OSP inquired if MCSO had a deputy near Boardman for a semi losing glass bottles. -MCSO received request for deputy from a Lexington area man who said someone drove through his fence, did damage and let cows out. -Boardman Ambulance received request for ambulance for a woman who had fallen and injured her ankle. She was transported to GSH. -MCSO received report of semi blocking the westbound right lane on 1-84. -BPD received request for officer from a woman who said her boyfriend was playing loud music at her residence. -BPD, MCSO received another request for police to respond to a Boardman residence. -BPD, MCSO cited Jose Solismonge, 35, for harassment. -MCSO received report of dogs attacking a cow in Irrigon. -MCSO received report of a dead cow in Irrigon, related to previous call. -MCSO received report from OSP of a stop sign down in Irrigon. -MCSO received report from a female in Irrigon that her roommate was being harassed. -BPD received report of a group of about 12 kids headed toward RHS with possible trouble. -OSP received report of a truck tailgating. Caller said she advised driver to back off with her CB radio, but he refused. OSP stopped and talked to driver. -MCSO received report of suspicious circumstance in a pickup and camper. Deputy was unable to contact the subject in the camper. March 21: BPD received report of kids skateboarding in the Sandpiper Apts, parking lot at 12:30 a.m. Caller wanted to know the curfew times. -MCSO received report of curve sign turned the wrong way on Depot Lane. -BPD, MCSO received report of a vehicle circling the parking lot at the Outback Apts, possible prowling cars. -OSP received report of a car in the median on 1-84. -BPD received report of a drive off with $26.11 worth of gas from Boardman 76. A woman said her soon-to-be-ex husband requested to see the kids and if she didn't allow him, he would beat her up. -Multnomah County Sheriffs Office arrested Tim Todd Glaze, 28, on a Morrow County Circuit Court warrant for failure to comply, Forgery II, with $5,000 bail and Irrigon Justice Court Warrant for Failure To Pay Fine/Driving While Suspended with $765 bail. -Oregon State Police, Boardm an A m bulance, Boardman Fire Department, Arlington Fire Department, Arlington Ambulance received report of a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on 1-84 eastbound. One patient was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital. -MCSO received report from a man that his ex-wife was harassing him at his workplace. Boardman. -MCSO arrested John E. Watson, 36, on 10 counts of Sex Abuse III. He was lodged at UCSOjail with $60,000 bail. -MCSO received report of a tire at a Boardman residence. The fire was put out and the fire department not needed. -BPD received report that the fire in the previous entry had burned through phone line. M arch 23: MCSO received report from deputy that he was out with a suspicious vehicle at the refuge. -MCSO received report from a female subject that two juvenile boys were knocking on her daughters's window. -MCSO received a call concerning mischief at Kegler's Sentry. -Heppner Ambulance, Morrow County District Attorney, MCSO received reqest for an ambulance for a male, not breathing on Balm Fork Road. The subject was deceased. -MCSO received report of a two-vehicle MVA in Imgon. -MCSO received report of a possible Census worker in Imgon abusing his dog. Caller called back and said to disregard report. -MCSO received an incomplete 911 call from an Irrigon address. There was no answer on call back. -MCSO received report of a truck that had debris fall on it on Hwy. 207 near Sandhollow.
