Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) reports handling the following business MCSO, Oregon State Police received a request for an officer from a male subject in Imgon who says his uncle is drunk and wouldn’t leave the house. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a request for an officer concerning harassing phone calls. The caller said she got the phone number from caller ID. MCSO, Boardm an Police Dept, received a report that a sub ject who had been harassing on the phone came to the Outback Apts, and tried to kick in the door of one of the tenants. MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received another report from a male subject in Irrigon that his uncle is trying to get in the resi dence again. The uncle was in toxicated and threatening. MCSO deputy cited Judith Lynn Chrastil, 47, Irrigon, for DUII. She had a BAC of .23. f Oct. 27: MCSO received a report from a deputy that he was given a wrong name by a male subject. MCSO deputy arrested Alex Rivera, 21, for Possession of a Controlled Substance/Metham- phetamme. He was lodged at the UCSO jail with bail set at $21,500. MCSO received a report from Columbia Middle School in Imgon that they had taken a knife from a subject at the school. MCSO received a report of a Rottweiler injured and a black lab running the streets. MCSO received a report from a ftmale in Irrigon that a woman is screaming and swearing at her. MCSO received a report that a male subject is violating his re lease agreement by living at a resi dence in Irrigon with a minor. Hermiston Police Dept, ar rested Luis Enrique Caceres- Zegurra, 24, on an Imgon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Ap- pear/Driving while License Sus pended. He was lodged at the UCSO jail with a hold placed for iMorrowCoUnty with $6,000 bail. Boardman Police Dept, ar rested Tyler Blaine Davis, 27, on a Umatilla County warrant for Failure to Appear/DUII. Bail was set at $10,000 and he was re leased. Heppner Police Dept, arrested Terry Lynn Jones, 36, on an Mor row County Circuit Court warrant for Parole Violation/Burglary II. He was lodged at the UCSO jail with no bail. Oct. 28-29: MCSO received a report of a window broken at a styling salon in Imgon. MCSO received a report of a subject found dead in his cabin along the Heppner-Spray High way. US Forest Service received a request from a woman who wanted someone to contact her husband because his dog was dy ing. She was advised that this wasn’t something that someone would be sent out for. MCSO received a report from an Irrigon woman that someone pulled out in front of her and al most ran her off the road at the Highway 730/1-84 junction. MCSO received a request from an Irrigon woman for a welfare check on her sister in Phoenix whom she hadn’t heard from in a week. MCSO received a report of a red Chevy Blazer parked illegally in a handicapped parking space at Sentry Market in boardman. MCSO received a report from a deputy that he was flagged down concerning criminal mischief at West Extension Irrigation. Heppner Police Dept, received a report of an eight year old at Pioneer Memorial Hospital with a pellet wound to his toe. MCSO received a request for a deputy to assist with an inter view. Oregon Dept, of Forestry re ceived a report of a fire on Kinzua Mtn. US Forest Service received a report of a fire, mostly contained, to a large tree trunk that couldn’t be put out. MCSO received a report of three children in the lone area missing since 3:40 p.m. They were located at 6:10 p.m. MCSO received a report from a woman that she was having problems with her stepmother and in getting her stuff. MCSO, Heppner Police Dept, received a report of a controlled bum that rekindled. It was okay. MCSO, Oregon State Police received a report of a Ford Es cort that drove off without paying for $4 30 worth of gasoline. They had paid for beer but not the gaso line. MCSO received a report of a hit-and-run in Boardman with someone going through a fence and irrigation and leaving a lot of car parts. Oregon State Police received a report of a hazardous vehicle over the fog line on 1-84 west bound. Oregon State Police received a report of two people shooting from a white Chevy suburban on Patterson Ferry Road in Irrigon Oregon State Police received a report of several boards and ply wood in the middle of the west bound lane of 1-84 east of the Boardman interchange. MCSO received a report of debris from the previous entry. MCSO received a request form Umatilla Police Dept, for a run away. MCSO received a request for a deputy concerning a male sub ject harassing another male sub ject by phone. MCSO received a report of a possible burglary in progress with juveniles involved. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report of a panic alarm at a Boardman residence. It was a false alarm. Beaverton Police Dept, ar rested Tomas Mendez-Najera, 32, Boardman, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/Driving while License Sus pended. He was lodged at the Washington County Jail with $396 bail Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report of a neighbor’s dog running around again. Heppner Police Dept, received a report of an audible alarm at Heppner Elementary School. It was a false alarm. People were just setting up for a party. MCSO received a report from ° a woman that her fathcr-in-ldw had assaulted her and her hus band. John Homer, 52, was ar rested for Assault IV-Domestic felony, and Teresa Homer, 38, was arrested for Telephone Harass ment. Both were lodged at the UCSOjail. MCSO received a report from a man in Heppner that while he was unloading cows, he was jumped and beaten up by three males driving a white pickup, be lieved to be hunters. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report of a domestic dis pute at the Boardman Sentry Market. An officer was unable to locate anything. MCSO received a report from Irrigon Sentry Market that a male subject was there trying to cash a stolen check belonging to a woman. Daniel Dwayne Brasel, 37, was charged with Possession of a Forged Instrument I, Theft I and Burglary I, and was lodged at the UCSO jail. John Richard LeDoux, 46. was arrested on a Heppner Justice Court warrant for Assault IV and DUII, and local charges of DUII. He was lodged at the UCSOjail with $12,000 bail. Beaverton Police Dept, ar rested Tomas Mendez-Najera, 32, on an Irrigon Justice Court war rant for Failure to Pay Fine/Driv- mg while License Suspended. He was lodged at the Washington County Jail with $396 bail and re leased due to overcrowding. MCSO received a report of road signs down on Highway 74. Warning signs were pulled out and placed in the middle of the road and were run over by a school bus from Wasco. MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report of fuel leaking in the Outback Apts, park ing lot. When confronted, the people were very combative and officer assistance was sought. Oct. 30: MCSO received a report of an audible burglar alarm at Huwe’s Washboard in Irrigon. The front door was found open. MCSO received a request for a deputy for a dog barking all night long. Oregon State Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle in Boardman. A white van was driv ing around, stopping and going again. MCSO, UCSO received a re port from a subject who said he bought a cow three years ago and the owner won’t let him take it. Heppner Police Dept., Hepp ner ambulance received a request for an ambulance for a male sub ject. He was transported to Pio neer Memorial Hospital in Hepp ner. Boardman Fire Dept, received a report of a fire alarm at Logan International. It was a false alarm. Heppner Police Dept, received a report of a property dispute from a male walk-in subject. US Forest Service received a report of a fire near the Tama rack Lookout. MCSO received a report from the Hermiston Police Dept, of three 911 hang-up calls from Irrigon. The mother of a small child was contacted and requested to talk to her child regarding 911 use. US Forest Service received a report of a small fire southeast of Rhea Creek. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report from a woman that her husband picked up their daugh ter at day care without her knowl edge. MCSO received a request for assistance to respond to shots fired at a residence. The call was un founded. Hermiston Police Dept, paged an ambulance to respond to an Imgon residence for an unrespon sive female with labored breath ing. The patient was transported to Good Shepherd Community Hospital in Hermiston. MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report of an au dible burglar alarm at Potlatch. Heppner Police*T)ept. received a report of a possible DUII com ing into Heppner in a black older Lincoln-type vehicle. MCSO received a request for a welfare check for a female sub ject due to a situation with her parents. She was okay. Oregon State Police received a report of a black Ford pickup swerving all over the road and speeding on 1-84. MCSO received two calls ad vising of 3-4 juveniles dressed in black attempting to hitch a ride, appearing to be a hazard. An of ficer gave them a ride to the county line. Oregon State Police received a report of an erratic driver on I- Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday. November 24, 1999 - FIVE 84 westbound who was swerving, speeding and then dropping speed quickly. MCSO received a report of a noise complaint from the Wagon Wheel area in Irrigon. MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report of an un wanted intoxicated subject who was asked to leave at Sandpiper Apts, in Boardman. MCSO received another loud music complaint at the Wagon Wheel area in Irrigon. The resi dence had a party with a live band and said they will wrap it up. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report of a large group outside yelling and screaming pro fanities. MCSO received a report of someone caught breaking into a pickup in Boardman. An officer was unable to locate the subject. Oct. 31: Boardman Police Dept, received a report of a bur glary in progress in Boardman. Chad William Wynn, 28, was transported to UCSOjail for Bur glary I and Theft III, with bail set at $25,500. He was also taken to Good Shepherd Community Hos pital to be checked out concern ing his front teeth that became loose from an assault that oc curred earlier in the evening. MCSO received a report of three loud bangs coming from be hind the Irrigon Sentry. MCSO received a report of yelling, screaming, things thrown and banging on walls at an apt. on Wilson Road in Boardman. Oregon State Police, Board- man Police Dept, received a re port of a domestic dispute in Boardman. The female was so hoarse from yelling that an officer was unable to get a lot of infor mation. US Forest Service received a report of a tree down on the 21 Road at Cutsforth Park. MCSO, Oregon State Police, ODOT, Morrow County Behav ioral Health, Boardman Fire Dept., Boardman Rescue, MCDA, Boardman ambulance received a report that a man was at the Boardman Texaco threat ening to kill himself. He was taken mto custody and transported,:*) Eastern Oregon Psychiatric Cen ter. MCSO received a report of a burglar alarm at Columbia Middle School in Irrigon. A teacher called at the same time to advise she had set off the alarm by mistake. Boardman Police Dept, cited Scott Bass, 18, for MIP/C-Alco- hol. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report of kids in a ve hicle, possibly a blue Ford with a canopy, egging houses. Nov. 1: MCSO, Boardman Police and Fire depts. received a report of a house fire. Oregon State Police arrested Duane Magee, 29, for DUII. He was lodged at the UCSOjail. MCSO, Boardman Fire and Police depts. received a report of a fire in the kitchen at a Boardman residence. MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report of a po tato truck blocking the on-ramp at Boardman. MCSO received a report of a part-Malamute dog found in the Johnson Creek area. MCSO received a request for a deputy concerning a house van dalized by renter. Boardman Police Dept, re quested MCSO to respond to a family disturbance in Boardman. Heppner police Dept, received a request for a welfare check for a Heppner woman. MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report of some one who tried to abduct a child from the Boardman Texaco sta tion. Boardman Police Dept, ar rested Ruben Lores-Lopez, 39, on two counts kidnap, and one count assault. He was lodged at the UCSO Jail. When the resident was contacted, he said he was cooking but there was no fire and he didn’t need assistance. Oregon State Police at Arling ton arrested Roel Lomas-Torres, 27, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for DUII. He was lodged at the jail. MCSO deputy cited a 14 year oldjuvemle for MIP-Tobacco. MCSO received a report of a man on the freeway overpass at thejunction of 1-84 and Highway 730 possibly planning to jump. The deputy was unable to locate any one. MCSO received a report of animals left behind when their owner passed away. The neigh bor was concerned, but another neighbor was taking care of them.
