The proposed rate would increase the cost o f water used above the minimum 1,000 gallons to $0.80 per 1,000 gallons. The rate increase is to cover the cost of operating, maintaining, and improving the water system. Members o f the First Christian Church served and cleaned up the dishes. Clarence Buchanan has been helping with the dishes for several weeks. The menu for May 5 is not yet available. The May menus will be posted in the center as soon as possible. Cards were played as usual last week and Bingo was played on Friday evening. There will be no Bingo Friday, April 30. The senior bus with five passengers went to the Stokes Landing Meal Site in Im gon Monday, April 26. Gerald Bergstrom was the driver.
