SIX - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heponef, Oregon Wednesday, March 17,1999 Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff s office (MCSO) reports handling the following business: MCSO received a report of forged documents. Heppner Police Dept, received a request for an officer concern ing continued break-ins at an apart ment in Heppner. Oregon State Police arrested Paul W. Hawk, 25, Hermiston, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Hunting Prohibited Hours. Hawk paid his fine in full. Jefferson County S h eriffs deputy arrested Jack L. Brasel, 40, on an Imgon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/ Driving while License Suspended. Brasel paid the fine and was given a court date. MCSO received a report of dogs found in Boardman. The dogs were claimed. MCSO received a report of tri angular pylons out when a car swerved to avoid hitting a vehicle and hit them. An officer was un able to locate either vehicle. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a request for an officer to speak to a tenant at Riverview Apts, who was either drunk or needed medical attention. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a request for an officer concerning kids who keep com ing into a neighbor’s yard even though she nas told them not to. MCSO received a report of a mean dog in Irrigon. MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report of a male subject sitting in the middle of the road on Boardman Ave. MCSO received a report that on officer was in pursuit of a ve hicle on Highway 207 northbound. The officer requested an ambu lance for a non-injury motor ve hicle accident, then cancelled it. Deeanna R. Raver, 27, was charged with Attempting to Elude and Reckless Driving. MCSO received a report of a noise on the roof at a Boardman residence. It turned out to be a cat in.the crawl space. , - Feb. 12: MCSO received a re port <Jf someone letting the air oujf oftires of a vehicle in Boardman. The caller was to go to Portland for a medical appointment. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report of a possible DUII heading to Boardman from Ar lington. MCSO received a request for an extra patrol at an Irrigon resi dence. The caller said his daugh ter and son may be there and to watch out for anything suspicious, like a huge party. MCSO received a report of a civil problem over a dispute over a trailer in Irrigon. Heppner Police Dept, received a request for an officer concern ing Liberty coins taken in at a store in Heppner. MCSO, Oregon State Police received a report of a black semi- truck speeding 85-95 mph on 1-84 and almost running another vehicle off the road. Jackie R. Tamplen, 41, Springtown, TX., was cited for Truck Speeding. MCSO received a report from Emergency Management that a helicopter made an emergency landing at the Wheeler/Crook county line in the Cougar Butte/ Roster Rock area. MCSO received a report of il legal dumping near Columbia Middle School in Irrigon where new houses are being built. Heppner Police Dept, cited three people for Failure to Use Seat Belts and made one citation for Endangering a Child Passen ger. MCSO received a report of a fire alarm at Finley Buttes Land fill. It was a false alarm. MCSO received a request for a deputy from a person concern ing the neighbor’s juvenile. Boardman Police Dept, ar rested Jeremy W. Bradford, 18, for Failure to Appear/Theft III. MCSO received a report from the Hermiston Police Dept, of a pony on the lawn at A.C. Houghton Elementary in Imgon. Feb. 13: MCSO, Boardman Police and Fire depts. received a report of a controlled bum out of control. The bum was vegetation only, no structures were involved. Heppner Police Dept, cited 4- 5 more people for Failure to Wear Safety Belts. Boardman Police Dept, cited Mana E. Andrade, 22, Boardman, for Driving while License Sus pended-infraction, Driving Unin sured and Endangering a Child Passenger. MCSO received a report of shots fired near the game area in Imgon. Several juveniles were seen just inside the gate to the re serve. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report of a dog in a neighbor’s yard threatening to bite. Heppner Police Dept, arrested Michael D. Hendncks, 42, on a UCSO warrant for Theft II, Tele-. phone Harassment and Criminal Mischief III. Hendncks was trans ported to UCSOjail by the Hepp ner Police Dept. MCSO received a request for an officer concerning a problem with a driver. MCSO deputy arrested Ronald D. Powers, 37, on an Imgon Jus tice Court warrant for Negotiat ing a Bad Check. Powers was cited and released due to health reasons. MCSO received a report of a car fire in the Sentry Market park ing lot in Imgon. A woman reported that her boyfriend and son were fighting and the son was getting physical. There were no weapons involved, the argu ment was verbal only. Heppner Police Dept, received a report of a Forest Service pickup stolen from a locking parking lot at the Forest Service. MCSO received a report of a break-in the previous night with damage to vehicles and a theft of a stereo and toolbox at Potlatch.
