Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriffs office (MCSO) received and re sponded to the following calls or referred them to another agency during the past two weeks: Aug. 25: to the Heppner Police Dept., a report of someone throw ing eggs at a door of a Heppner residence; MCSO received a report of a vehicle over the bank at the east end of the ballfield at the Irrigon Manna; MCSO received a report o f a girl being harassed by another girl in Irrigon; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of a son threatening to hurt his mother and breaking her bedroom door; To the Heppner Police Dept., a report of a wallet found on a sidewalk in Heppner; MCSO received a report of a burglary alarm at the entry of A.C. H oughton Elem entary School in Irrigon; MCSO received a report of two juveniles with .22s shooting in Irrigon. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles; MCSO received a report of an injury accident on top of Hepp ner Hill, Highway 207, milepost 9. A patient was en route to Pio neer Memorial Hospital in Hepp ner; MCSO received another report of the injury accident on Hepp ner Hill with one unresponsive patient trapped inside. The ve hicle was located but no one was inside as the patient was already en route to the hospital; MCSO received a report o f shots or fireworks near the West Glen area in Boardman. A MCSO deputy warned people of illegal fireworks; MCSO received a report of a deer hit between Lexington and lone; MCSO received a report of a loss of all 911 lines except in Heppner and a loss of long-dis tance capabilities. The m other, who had fallen asleep, was located and the chil dren returned; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of a vehicle hit and run at the Sentry Market in Boardman, with vehicle damage; MCSO deputy and the Irrigon ambulance responded to a motor vehicle accident at Bake’s Res taurant in Irrigon; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of smoke and a fire alarm from an old trailer at Paul Smith and Kunze roads, Boardman. It was a controlled bum; MCSO received a report of an assault in Irrigon; MCSO received a report of ha rassing phone calls to a business in Imgon; To the Heppner Police Dept., a report of someone tearing out bushes at a Heppner residence; To the Oregon State Police, a report of suspicious persons tak ing parts from a red pickup from the Lexington Auto Body in Lex ington; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of tenants at the Colum bia Villa Apts, in Boardman yell ing and arguing. There were no assaults; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of padlocks broken and a house broken into at Boardman; I MCSO received a report of a suspicious vehicle at Four Mile. The owners had moved; MCSO received a report of shots fired in Irrigon. Aug. 27: Lexington, Heppner fire depts., and ambulances re sponded to a motor vehicle acci dent 10 miles north of Lexington. One patient with lower back pain was transported to the Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner; MCSO deputy and the Oregon State Police responded to a report of yelling and screaming an pos sibly hitting at the Irrigon Mobile Court; MCSO received a report of ten ants taking landlord’s property; To the Heppner Police Dept., a report of trespassing at Miller’s Mini-Mart; MCSO received a report of ve hicles driving too fast in Irrigon; MCSO received a report of a suspicious plant, perhaps a pot plant, growing in a back yard in Irrigon; MCSO received a report of neighbors hauling stuff in and burying something in Irrigon; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of a disturbance and con cern for a person involved in Boardman; MCSO received a report of a green Chevy pickup and a white Honda Accord playing cat and mouse on 1-84; MCSO received a report of three suspicious people at a Boardman rest area; MCSO received a report of shots fired in Irrigon; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of 7-10 young males ha rassing a child as he rode his bi cycle at the Boardman City Park; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of an alarm at the Sam Boardman Elementary School. It was a false alarm; MCSO deputy and the Oregon State Police responded to a caller who said if deputies were not sent to Cain Drive in 22'/z minutes, he would drop his .45 and start shooting and all that would be lefi to do is call the am bulance. MCSO was unable to locate the suspect. Aug. 28: the Boardman Police Dept, and MCSO deputy re sponded to a report of someone at the BP station in Boardman stealing gasoline; MCSO received a report of a rottweiler grabbing a puppy and running off with it in Boardman; To the Heppner Fire Dept., a report of a controlled bum out of control at Ruggs; MCSO received a report of a person driving while license sus pended in Irrigon; MCSO received a report of a speeder in Irrigon; To the Oregon State Police, a report of a speeding yellow log truck at Cutsforth Park; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of a 12 year old in Board- man with a wire in his foot; MCSO received a report of two people toilet-papering a house in Imgon. The people were made to clean up the mess by the owner; MCSO received a report o f a suspicious vehicle at Rivercrest Farms; MCSO received a report of a stolen bike in Irrigon; To the City of Heppner, a re port of a water leak. City work ers were unable to locate the leak; MCSO received a report o f an emergency vehicle from Emer gency Management in Heppner recovered. The vehicle had been towed by Bert’s Tow; To the Heppner Police Dept., a report of dogs barking and a possible prowler in Heppner. Aug. 29: MCSO received a re port of an injured deer in the road at lone; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of a vehicle spray painted in Boardman; MCSO received a report of an audible alarm at DSE; MCSO received a report o f someone using someone else’s Social Security Number in Irri gon; MCSO received another report of an audible alarm sounding at DSE. The owners were believed to be out of town and lefi a dog inside; MCSO received a report of a vehicle with two females, with open containers and a child with out a seatbelt on. The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle; MCSO received a report o f someone seeing someone going up to a residence in Heppner while the owners were gone. It turned out to be the ow ner’s grandson who was staying there; MCSO received a report of a vehicle stuck in the median at I- 84, milepost 173 westbound. The subject was attempting to make a U-tum when she got stuck; MCSO received a report of a possible drunk driver on 1-84, milepost 123 eastbound; MCSO received information that there will be bow hunters on the Potlach property who have permission to be there; MCSO received a report of a fire alarm at the lone Elementary School. It was a false alarm; To the Oregon State Police, a report of a camp trailer burglar ized at Divide Wells; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report o f a drive off at the Boardman BP for $ 11.20 of gaso line. They were unable to locate the vehicle; MCSO deputy and the Oregon State Police responded to a dnve- by shooting on Power Pole Road, Irrigon. The victim , Jacob Hennessy, was shot in the groin; he was transported to Good Shep herd Community Hospital in Her- miston. Martin Fuentes was ar rested and charged with A t tem pted Homicide and three counts o f Menacing and was lodged at the Umatilla County Sheriffs office jail; To the Boardman Police Dept., a report of a rottweiler in a yard in Boardman; MCSO deputy and the Oregon State Police responded to a do mestic dispute in progress and a man with a knife at a residence in Irrigon. Clint D. Litteral, 27, was arrested for Assault IV Domestic and lodged at the U m atilla County Sheriffs office jail; MCSO received a report of a window broken at an Imgon resi dence; MCSO deputy and the Oregon State Police responded to a report of a man threatened with a knife by his girlfriend.
