Sheriff» W«port The Morrow County Sheriff's office in Heppner reports dis patching the following business during the past week: May 28: Morrow County deputy began an investigation of criminal mischief at an Irri- gon residence; Morrow County deputy began an investigation of van dalism at a Boardman resi dence; Morrow County deputy began an investigation of crim inal mischief at an Irrigon busi ness; Morrow County deputy assisted the Boardman Police Dept, with an assault at a Boardman residence; Morrow County deputy began an investigation of crim inal mischief at an Irrigon resi dence; Morrow County deputy began an investigation of theft from a Heppner residence. May 29: Morrow County deputy responded to Irrigon for a report of stolen tools; Morrow County Sheriff's of fice dispatched the Fossil am bulance to a residence on Clar- no Road for an adult male with an injury. Transport was re fused; Morrow County deputy con tacted an Irrigon female regar ding a suspicious vehicle; Morrow County deputy con tacted a Boardman female re garding a traffic problem; Morrow County deputy assisted the Boardman Police Dept, with a neighborhood problem. May 30: Morrow County Sheriff's office dispatched the Arlington Fire Dept, and am bulance to a truck and trailer fire on 1-84 westbound, mile post 123; Morrow County Sheriff's of fice dispatched the Arlington Fire Dept, and ambulance to a motor vehicle accident (roll over) on 1-84 milepost 131; Morrow County deputy responded to a traffic problem in the Irrigon area; Morrow County deputy ar rested William Ammons, 24, of Irrigon on two warrants for Parole Violation/Forgery I; Morrow County deputy took a vandalism complaint from the Morrow County Road Dept.; Morrow County deputy responded to the West Glen area in Boardman for a traffic problem. May 31: Morrow County deputy responded to the Boardman area for a report of vehicle vandalism; Morrow County deputy took a report of a broken window at lone High School; Morrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area for a report of a theft. June 1: Morrow County deputy arrested Bruce Harvey Leach, 48, of Portland for Driv ing Under the Influence of In toxicants. Leach was released under his own recognizance and given a date to appear in court; Morrow County Sheriff's of fice dispatched the Condon Emergency Medical Techni cians to a residence at the air base in Condon for an adult female with an unknown ill ness. The patient was trans ported to Gilliam County Medical Center in Condon; Morrow County deputy assisted the Boardman Police Dept, in checking suspicious vehicles in the Boardman area; Morrow County deputy responded to take a vandalism complaint at the Irrigon Mari na; Morrow County Sheriff's of fice dispatched the lone Fire Dept, to a car fire on Main Street; Morrow County deputy responded to the Boardman area for a report of a distur bance; Morrow County Sheriff's of fice dispatched the Boardman Fire Dept., ambulance, and a Morrow County deputy to a one vehicle rollover on 1-84. Two patients were transported to Good Shepherd Communi- • ty Hospital in Hermiston; Morrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area for a report of a trespasser that wouldn't leave the property; Morrow County Sheriff's of fice dispatched the Boardman Fire Dept, to a field fire on Rip- pee Road in Boardman; Morrow County deputy responded to the lone area for a report of a reckless driver; Morrow County deputy responded to a shots fired call in the Irrigon area; Morrow County deputy responded to the Bombing Range to check on a field fire. The fire was out; Morrow County Sheriff's of fice dispatched the Fossil am bulance to B Street in Fossil for a juvenile problem; Morrow County deputy responded to a harassment call in the Irrigon area. H G C to dedicate Blue Star Marker Bible study class A Bible study has been plan ned for June 11, 18 and 25 at the lone United Church of Christ (IUCC) at 7:30 p.m. Karen Gale, the summer ministerial intern at IUCC will be on hand for the Bible study. She recent ly completed her second year at Pacific School of Religion, a seminary in Berkeley, Califor nia, and is in lone for the next five weeks to learn about ministry and to share some of her interests and time with the congregation. All interested persons are in vited to join the adult education class on the three consecutive Tuesdays. The Heppner Garden Club, on Friday, June 21, at 2 p.m., will dedicate the Blue Star Marker, which is being placed in the 1903 mini-park, going in to Heppner on Highway 74.
