TWO - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, May 3, 1995 New records set by HJH track team The Heppner Junior High track teams have participated in three track meets, all held at Umatilla High Schools's track field. This years' team of 42 stu dent athletes is one of the largest turnouts after having 35 students in 1993. Many of the athletes are turning in top per formances to place in the top six spots. Due to the large number of participants the in addition to the red uniforms the team is also using old blue and gold uniforms from Heppner High School. "With the seventh and eighth graders moving to the high school next year, and uniform colors still undecided, the exchange with the high school uniforms was also a cost effective measure," said coach Susan Hisler, "even though for those watching it can be very confusing who Heppner is ."
