V O TE FO R ONE 4 YEAR T E R M , ZON E 3 , SU M M A RY: This measure proposes to form a health district to he responsible for providing medical services to the people residing within the district. The district would include all of Morrow County except the area lying north of the section lines forming the north boundary of the Bombing Range (extended west to the Morrow/Gilliam County boundary) and west of an imaginary line extending from Bombing Range Road to the Columbia Riv er. The district, if approved, would he formed with a tax base of $600,000.00; the tax levy necessary to raise this amount of revenue is subject to the limits of Section l i b , Article XI of the Oregon Constitution. Revenues to he raised will he used for direct health care, sueh as physician services, medical equipment, and ambulance, and not for exclusively educational and support serv ices.
