Cardinals to state volleyball playoffs By Anne Morter The lone lady Cardinals won the District Volleyball Cham pionship Nov. 5 and now ad vance to the State 1A Volleyball Meet as the number one team from the Big Sky Conference. The Cardinals are scheduled to play Adrian at 7 p.m. on Fri day November 11 at Spring- field High School. Win or lose, they will play again on Satur day, November 12, with the time determined by their first game. volunteers are reminding peo ple to check their batteries in their smoke alarms. “ With the cold weather the wood stoves are being used now so you need to make sure your smoke alarm works to o ," said a spokesperson.
