CAPECO received over $341,000 in Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) funds and served over 165 youth during the 1993 Summer Youth Employment and Training Pro gram. The 1994 program will begin May 1, 1994 and will serve residents of Umatilla and Morrow counties, with an estimated budget of $300,000. It will con centrate on basic skills training, academic enrichment activities, work experience, on-the-job training, limited internship, and pre-employment skills training. These program activities will be provided in various ways, rang ing from classroom settings and field trips to partnerships with private and public sector employers, and school districts. This plan is available for com ment through April 1, 1994. The state corporation commis sion said Tuesday that Pioneer Resources L.L.C ., a limited liability corporation formed to purchase Kinzua, was a new cor poration, established on January 21, and therefore names of the principals of the corporation were not available. The commission said that they had only the name of the agent, who is Larry O. Gildea, 342 E. 12th Ave., Eugene.
