The workshop will be held Tuesday, July 13, 1993 at the Hermiston High School Auditorium, 600 South First Street, 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The Morrow County Open Horse Show will be held at the Morrow County Fairgrounds Sunday, July 18 beginning at 8 a.m. To pre-register mail registra tion forms to Shirley Adams or Becky Evans, both Heppner by July 14. Registration forms are available at the Fair office. Cost is $1 for Morrow County classes and $3 for open classes. Late en tries will be accepted with an ad ed a potluck meeting on July 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Dean and Shirley Connor in Heppner. State Director Nellie Hender son from Bend will be on hand ditional late charge. Available classes include: halter, showmanship, English and Western pleasure, English and Western equitation, jumping, trail, five and under leadline and eight and under walk/trot. The flowers, fruits and vegetables may be brought in on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8-10 a.m. All livestock will be entered on Wednesday from 8-10 a.m. Name changes in two depart ments have also been made. The Fair Committee encourages everyone to make scarecrows and enter them in the fair. The theme for this year’s fair and rodeo, to be held August 16 through 22 is “ Wagons Ho to the Morrow County Fair” . The next fair com m ittee meeting will be Monday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the annex building. Those interested in helping with the fair are invited to attend. The Neighborhood Center has planned a rummage sale. Satur day July 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The center has also planned a drawing for a 1978 camper which would fit a small pickup. Tickets may be purchased at the center at $1 each or six for $5. The draw ing will be held on August 16.
