The Morrow County Open
Horse Show will be held at the
Morrow County Fairgrounds
Sunday, July 18 beginning at 8
a.m.
To pre-register mail registra­
tion forms to Shirley Adams or
Becky Evans, both Heppner by
July 14. Registration forms are
available at the Fair office. Cost
is $1 for Morrow County classes
and $3 for open classes. Late en­
tries will be accepted with an ad­

at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Dean
and Shirley Connor in Heppner.

Name changes in two depart­
ments have also been made. The
“ Superkids” are now referred to
as "Juniors” and the "Teens”
are “ Young Adults” . In several

Neighborhood Center to give away
French fries and hashbrowns
French fries and hashbrowns
will be distributed at the
Neighborhood Center in Heppner
on July 9 beginning at 1 p.m.
Donations will be accepted.
The Neighborhood Center has
planned a rummage sale. Satur­
day July 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The center has also planned a
drawing for a 1978 camper which
would fit a small pickup. Tickets
may be purchased at the center at
$1 each or six for $5. The draw­
ing will be held on August 16.
