September 30: Morrow Coun ty deputy responded to investigate a report of vandalism in Irrigon; M orrow County deputy responded to deliver an emergen cy message to a person at Anson Wright Park; M orrow County deputy responded to investigate a juvenile problem. October 1: Morrow County deputy arrested Inocencio Gon zales Hernandez, Salinas. CA. for driving under the influence ot intoxicants. Hernandez was cited and released with an appearance date; M orrow County deputy assisted the Boardman Police dept, with a report of harassment at a place of business; M orrow County deputy responded to investigate a vehi cle which was parked in a private driveway. October 2: Morrow County deputies assisted Oregon State Police with a domestic at the Weary Traveler in Irrigon: Morrow County deputy in vestigated a report of a stolen washing machine from Olive Bonham of Boardman; Morrow County deputy in vestigated a burglary at a residence on Paul Smith and Kunze Road in Boardman. Oct. 3: M orrow County Sheriff s office dispatched the Condon ambulance to the Condon Motel for a male with an injury. There was no transport; Morrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area to take an assault complaint; Morrow County Sheriff s of fice dispatched the Mitchell am bulance to the Blueberry Muffin Cafe for one male with an illness. Patient was transported to Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Prineville; M orrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area for a vandalism that had occured to a vehicle; Morrow County deputy in vestigated criminal mischief at an Irrigon residence. October 4: Morrow County deputy assisted an owner with an animal problem. Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Boardman am bulance to a rollover accident on 1-84 milepost 167. One person was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital; M orrow County deputy responded to investigate a driv ing complaint in Irrigon; Morrow County deputy responded to attempt to locate a possible drunk driver in the Heppner area. October 5: Morrow County deputy responded to 1-84, east bound 162 for an animal problem; Morrow County Sheriff s of fice dispatched the Boardman am bulance to a one vehicle rollover on 1-84, east bound, 151. Two people were transported to Good Shepherd Hospital. October 6: Morrow County deputy responded to take a report of a prowler in the Irrigon area. One juvenile was transported with unknown injuries; Morrow County deputy ar rested Timothy Charle Hiatt, 27, Hermiston, on a Umatilla Police Dept, warrant for Failure to Ap pear. Hiatt was transported and turned over to the Umatilla Police department; M orrow County deputy responded to lone to investigate a .omplaint of harassment. October 7: Morrow County Sheriff s office responded to Lex ington for a report of unsecured property. Property was secured; M orrow County deputy responded to an Irrigon residence for a report of a hazardous park ed vehicle; M orrow County deputy responded to the lone area for a report of an animal problem; M orrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area for a neighborhood disturbance; Morrow County deputy began an investigation of an animal pro blem in Boardman; M orrow County deputy responded to a report of suspicious circumstances at Cutsforth Park; M orrow County deputy responded to an alarm at lone High School. Alarm was false; M orrow County deputy responded to investigate a domestic problem in Boardman; M orrow County deputy assisted a disabled motorist on 1-84, eastbound. October 8: Morrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area to take a reckless driving com plaint. Investigation is continuing. October 9: Morrow County Sheriff s office dispatched the Boardman ambulance to a residence for an infant with an in jury. Person was thought to be in Irrigon. Pettyjohn A graveside funeral service was held for Earl G. Pettyjohn on Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Heppner Masonic Cemetery. Mr. Pettyjohn, 79, of Heppner, died Monday. Oct. 5, 1992 at his home. He was born March 14, 1913 at Sweden, Mo., to Fred and Lora Jackson Pettyjohn. He came to Oregon with his family in 1920 and attended schools at Arlington and lone. He began farming in the lone area. He moved to Hepp ner in 1972. Survivors include sisters, Ger trude Webb of Ontario and Rita Hynd of The Dalles; brothers Ellis of Heppner, Jim of lone, Claude of Mt. Airy. Ga. and Clyde of Portland.
