1-84 milepost 167. One person
was transported to Good
Shepherd Hospital;

people were transported to Good
Shepherd Hospital.

Earl G. Pettyjohn
A graveside funeral service
was held for Earl G. Pettyjohn on
Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Heppner
Masonic Cemetery.
Mr. Pettyjohn, 79, of Heppner,
died Monday. Oct. 5, 1992 at his
home.
He was born March 14, 1913
at Sweden, Mo., to Fred and
Lora Jackson Pettyjohn. He came
to Oregon with his family in 1920
and attended schools at Arlington
and lone. He began farming in
the lone area. He moved to Hepp
ner in 1972.
Survivors include sisters, Ger
trude Webb of Ontario and Rita
Hynd of The Dalles; brothers
Ellis of Heppner, Jim of lone,
Claude of Mt. Airy. Ga. and
Clyde of Portland.
