Ask yourself - would PGE spend $10 million on a media blitzkreig to save their stockholders $500 million in "decommissioning" costs? PGE managers want the ratepayers to pick up the tab for decommissioning. They say they’ll sue the taxpayers if measure #6 passes! Fortunately they can't win. The supreme court recently ruled that voters have the right to declare nuclear power plants located on earthquake faults a "public nuisance" and are not liable for any utility losses. This "decommissioning" belongs to the stockholders. They are the ones who crammed this nuclear nightmare down the public's throat! They are the ones who have profited enormously for 17 years, at the ratepayer's expense. And now they want a bailout! If PGE is successful in their quest for the "dumb" vote it will cost each ratepayer $1000. Vote yes on 6, and keep your money.
