Heppner G azette-T im es, H eppner, O regon W ednesday, N ovem ber 13, 1991 - FIVE lone youth group shares slides with area churches BOWLING By Anne Morter The lone Youth Group met Oc tober 30 in the United Church of Christ basement to view the slides from their Burnside Service Project, done in mid-October. The students signed up to share the slides with the various churches in the area. Crystal Minster and Jason Proudfoot will do a presentation at the Episcopal Church, Mike Garrett, Kari Morgan and Justin Miller will share with the congregation at the United Church of Christ, Michelle Kandle, Heidi Orem and Jim Garrett will handle the presentation at the Catholic Church and Danielle Stefani, Kristine Bedor- tha and Brandi Ball will share highlights of their trip at the Lutheran Church. The students who made the service trip also signed their banner at the meeting. It was decided to do another service trip, but not until March when basketball season is over. Nine students signed up to attend the Seattle Youth Convention November 16 and 17. The title of the convention is ‘‘Seeing With New E yes.” Thirty eight different workshops are available for the students to choose from. Once again, the youth group will sell Christmas trees. Orders are cur rently being taken for Douglas, No ble, Shasta and Grand Fir trees.
