Two Trackers 4-H News Snap Shots By Annie Hisler, Reporter On April 10, Snap Shots Photography club met for a meeting at Kate’s Pizza. The members present took a quiz on what they’ve been learning from their unit 1 and unit 2 manuals. After the quiz the club then wat ched a movie on composition. It in troduced the five rules and guidelines in composing a good photo. The Two Trackers 4-H club will be meeting Sunday, May 20 for a Showmanship/Fitting for Show clinic. Those attending should bring their horse to the fairgrounds from 3-5 p.m. For more inform ation call 676-9938 or 676-5432. Two-Trackers The Two-Trackers Horse Club will have an organizational meeting for the Memorial Day Competition Trail Ride on May 6 at 2 p.m. at the fair grounds. All adults who have volunteered or want to help should attend this meeting. Dr. Dick Temple D.V.M. will explain the various jobs and assign people to them. This is an organizational meeting only, so participants in the ride need not attend. All who are facilitating in anyway should attend. Scott Coe gave a presentation or the different breeds of sheep. Brent Wright gave a presentation on feeding lambs. The club took a quiz over the parts of a sheep and a steer. The club has $367 in their bank account and members talked about buying a dryer for fair to dry the sheep. Britt Logging company offered the club $ 100 to wash and wax four log ging trucks. Dates of April 28 and May 12 were set to do this. Members signed up for summer week. Ewes R Us got folders for records. Leaders mentioned getting gar bage cans for feed at the fair. Greg Barrin will be coming to the next meeting to talk about judging at the 4-H annex April 30 at 6:30 p.m. club members will be attending a clinic on judging May 6. The club picked Joe Bacon, vice presi dent; John Qualls, treasurer; Mindy Qualls, secretary; and Lonnie Rill reporter. The club watched tapes of the fair last year. The Mustangs needed on ly one win to clinch second place in the CBC. Jim Kindle started on the mound, keeping the Rockets in check the whole game. He gave up only one hit, struck out 12, allowing no runs. The Mustangs gave Kindle all the run support he needed. The first two came on an RBI single by Doug Devin and an RBI by Brandon Pedro for a 2 to 0 Mustang lead. The Mustangs got two more runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and one in the sixth to give the Mustangs a 7 to 0 victory. Tom Kenny lead the Mustangs with two hits. In game two, the Mustangs fell apart, committing seven errors, and letting the Rockets score six unearn ed runs. Tucker Hodgen was on the mound for the Rockets.
