Jeff Wallace Jesus Flores-Rio», 36, Mexico, was convicted last summer follow ing a judge trial on two counts of second degree attempted burglary The convictions arose from July, 1986 break ins at the U S Post Of fice and the Turner VanMartcr &. Bryant Insurance agency in Hepp ner Flores Rios later fled the area and was serv mg a prison sentence on a Wasco County burglary conviction when he was convicted on the Mor row County charges Circuit Judge Pro Tern James Donnell sentenced Flores Rios to one yacr in the Morrow County Jail, and suspended the execution of sentence He placed him on five years probation, and ordered him turned over to im m igration authorities for deportation to Mexico He was further ordered n»« to return to the U S during the term of his probation N e w s Grant Union ends Riverside season By Mikka Evans The hopes and dreams of the Riverside Pirates were stopped by the Grant Union Prospectors in a 22 9 loss for the Pirates The Prospectors rallied in the se cond half, driving 75 yards for a touchdown in 10 plays and two minutes Two interceptions by the Prospectors m the closing minutes gave them the step above the Pirates The Pirates took the lead on the final play of the first half Looking to run out the clock and finish the half with (he lead.
