Oct 6 to play the two and one Heppner Mustangs Heppner came away w ith a 48-b s ic- tory The Mustangs kicked off to the Tigers, and three plays later the Mustang offense took over The Mustangs wasted hole time scoring, when Mustang fullback Doug Des in scored the games first touchdown from nine yards out Rick Osmin’s kick made the score 7-0. The Tigers then got the ball and drove it down into Mustang ter ritory The Tigers were threatening half the Tiger» got the hall and threw another intercept urn this time to Bob Krein The next play the Mustangs scored again when Bntt hit Casey Pedro on a 50 yard touchdown reception Brin added the two point conversion gi* ing the Mustangs a 27 to 0 halftime lead To start the third quarter, the Stan field Tigers kicked off to the Mustang* The Mustangs Krein then scored his second touchdown of the night, this time from 39 yards out Osmins kick gave the Mustangs a 34-0 lead The Tigers struck next for their only score of the game Stanfield Brian Bailey ran it in from 22 yards The extra point attempt was block ed by Bntt making the score. Mustangs 34. Stanfield b Heppner wasn't done yet Rick Osmin also reached the end rone from 45 yards out and his extra punt attempt was g*x*d making the score 4i to n The Mustangs last score came when sophomore Jason Britt punch ed it in from one yard out and Osmin's kic k was good making the final score 48 6 The Mustangs next game will he Thursday. Tues day.
