Acids from human skin can remove the protective slime coat from a fish's body, resulting in an infection and often death The best method is to leave the fish in the water while unhooking it needle-nose pliers or a similar device, thus releasing it without ever touching the animal with your hands At the risk of receiving hate mail and death threats from the trout purists, let me say most warmwatcr species bass, for example -are heartier than trout and other salmomds, and can generally he lifted from the water for slightly longer pern>ds for unh«x»king and pictures. Warmwatcr fish can he photographed, with trout, stick to a quick snapshot In either case, photos should he taken w ith yiuir catch held over the water to avoid injury should the fish wriggle free and fall , a s n m s n m m m « n n t FOREST LAND Many parcels o f buildable property located at Lake Fenland Cutsforth Pk 275 acres partial meadow land on Ditch Creek Rd . some timbered, surrounded by Umatilla National Forest.
