T he plant is not translocating very much material in that leaf, and hcncc the aphids six not get the necessary dose o f pesticide And a heavier dose isn't the answer because the plant won't translocate a heavier dose any better than the lighter one I .ate in the season it is best to spray with the least expensive material available, since the systemic action isn't nccslcd for persistance nor is it very effective in the tightly rolled leaf It isn't needed because once the wheat is in the soft dough stage o f growth, the aphid can no longer affect yield If the wheat is close to maturity . a persistant msec ticidc isn't necessary Lorshan (chlorpvrifos) niav be* St. Patrick’s Senior Center Bulletin Board Our friends continue to bring items that help us to furnish our center This past week Karen Holland added several paintings.
