March 27 at the Wagon Wheel Cafe for a dinner meeting Ib is was a re cap o f the past St Pat’ s celebration and improvements were discussed for next year New officers were elected lor the coming year Claudia Hughes and Diana Hull w ill he u> chairwomen tor the event Kaedcnc Hailey was elected secretary and George K o f tier, treasurer Reports were given hy committee chairmen It was generally noted that this year's celebration was a success David Sykes was congratulated for his time and effort tor being the chairman lor the last tour years It was suggested that the committee look into hav ing a big name cclcbn ty next year to help draw people It was suggested to contact tour gn>ups to come into town on one slav excursions It was noted rather ironically, that there is not one true Irishman on the St Patrick's Committee New events suggested for the next year were a m arathon tu n . liartenders Race and Hummer Lamb Race “ I would like to sec more o f the community become involved in this community project.
