Three 3-powit field goals by Russell Britt in the second quarter led the Mustangs as they took a slim 37-33 lead into the locker room Heppner increased Us lead by eight in the third quarter, led by Hanson's nine points in the period Alter the third quarter it Uioked as if Heppner would blow the game open, but it was not to be. and the Tigers came fighting back Heppner and Stanfield both took turns at scor r ing spurts but in the end the Mustangs were able to hang on even though they were outscorrd 18-14 in the final stan/a Bryan Padherg led the fourth quarter with nine points Tim Hays contributed 12 rebounds and Britt handed out 10 assists for the Mustangs Nest up for the Mustangs will be the visiting W eston-M cEwen Tiger Scots, Friday, before making the long trip to Maupin to play the Wasco County Rcdsides on Satur day.
