October 15 Hostesses were Queen Susie French Ward, Princess Anne Hoskins Munkers, Princess Patty Luc umi Matheny and Princes Kerry Coppock Pettyjohn The ocher 1972 princess. Dehbic McCoy Bums was unable to attend due to illness. Court Director Mickie Hoskins Madison and Court Chaperone Marlene Cum n accompanied Queen Nancy and her mother Janell, Princev Jodce and mother Julie, Princess Amy and mother Janet and Princess Shawna and mother Kathy on a shopping trip to begin the pro cess of outfitting the Court. Donna Rietmann. attended the semiannual statewide Oregon County Veterans Service Officer Conference held October 19-21 in Wilsonville. The session, sponsored by the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Af fairs. provided county veterans ser vice officers with updated informa tion necessary to assist Oregon veterans, their widows or widowers and dependents in applying for state and federal veterans' benefits in such areas as; housing, education, counseling, claim s, insurance, employment, medical, compensa- tkvn. and pension Keynote speakers included Roland Brown, District Counsel, U.S. Veterans Administration.
