SK and a I mile distance which wanders through the city and on inn the county before returning to the star ting point Runners should be pre- registored by August 12 to guarantee a t-shirt on race day Registration packets and late registration will be available between 7-7 45 a m race day For pre registration call Barb at 922-4175 evenings or write J Anderson at Rt 2 Box 471C. Ir rigon. 97R44 The Watermelon Festival Parade gets under way at 10 a m on Main Street and includes a "Kiddie Parade". Festivities begin at the Manna Park at the completion of the parade Several exhibitions are planned including a sheep shearing demonstration by former New Zealander and Mayor of Umatilla.
