S D , son of Earnest and Margaret Tindcl Daggett He served as a pilot with the Ar my Air Force during Worid War II On Sept 22. 1942, he married Elizabeth He.ly al Astoria Daggett had lived at Heppner for 35 years and was transportation supervisor for the Morrow County School District. He was a member and past exalted ruler of Heppner Elks Lodge 358 and a member of Willow Creek Country Club. Survivors include his wife, at the home, daughter Kay Hunkapillar of Pendleton, sons. Lee of Portland and Kenneth of Clovis. N M , Brothers. Edgar of Eugene. Doug of Roveburg and Ijoren of Lorenzo. Calif, sisters. Marian Rcamcy of McKenzie Bridge and Dora Jones of Jerfferson; and four grandchildren. Memorial services were at St Patrick Catholic Church in Heppner Friday.
