Heppner Chamber urges ‘no’ vote
To the Hditor:
Very shortly, people of Morrow
County will he asked to vote on an
initiative petition ballot measure that
would require voter approval to site
any Morrow County landfill waste
site If passed, this measure would
stall the Finley Buttes Landfill Site
question until at least November

sion far in advance of that time

effectively kill the opportunity for
this new industry in Morrow
County

and a member of Willow Creek
Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, at the
home, daughter Kay Hunkapillar of
Pendleton, sons. Lee of Portland and
Kenneth of Clovis. N M , Brothers.
Edgar of Eugene. Doug of Roveburg
and Ijoren of Lorenzo. Calif, sisters.
Marian Rcamcy of McKenzie Bridge
and Dora Jones of Jerfferson; and
four grandchildren.
