Miss . on Dec 14. 1916, to James Fullerton and Ruth (Hall) Davis He marrned F.llen **P»t Slinglc in Beaverton on Aug 28. 1938 Two children were horn to them. Nancy Ellen and W illiam Edward William Edward was killed in 1974 Davis served in the Marine Corps in the South Pacific during World W ar II He was a fourth generation saw filer in his family and worked in Oregon mills During the l96fV he owned a saw shop in I’hilomath W hen he lived in Heppner. he led a large Boy Scout troop, which left him many happy memories He also organized the Morrow Co tor Civil Defense during those years He is survived by his wife. Pal. a daughter Dr Nan Knbs of Flagstaff. Ariz . a daughter in law. Carolyn [>avis of Corvallis, and three grand children. I .aura Jane Davis of Portland. Ben Davis of Corvallis and Martin Krihs of Flagstaff Other surviving relatives are a brother and sister in law, James and Hetty Lynn Davis of Florence, a sister and brother-in-law. Calif . daughter l.ora Stotts of Hcppner. sisters Iva Booker of Heppner and F lossie Gilman of Baker; three grand children and four g rea t grandchildren Her husband died in 1958 The funeral was May 29 at the First Christian Church in Hcppner Burial at the Hcppner Cemetery Memorial contributions may be nude to Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home. Min ncsota His family moved from Min nesota to Portland in 1917 He later moved to lone with his mother in 1919 He moved back to Portland during the I921N On August 17. 1929. he married Inc/ Crum He owned and operated a restaurant on 82nd and Division in Portland for several years before mov ing to Hood River in 193b At that time he bought a Maytag fran chive He enjoyed racing motor cycles after retiring from the ap pliance business Hr was an avid hunter and enjoyed fly fishing In 1975. he married laila Sisson He is surv ived by a daughter.
