I Sntr I t.u la m David and April Sykes, Publishers Editorial Reasons for levy defeat unclear Traveling and working at newspapers in both ends of Mor row County usually gives me a good opportunity when con troversy arises, to find out what's on people’s minds Not so with the recent multiple defeats of the county school levies. It's not that people aren't talking, they certainly are It just seems that there is no concensus, or common complaint about what the problem is One person says money is the issue, one says attitude o f the district is the problem, one says a particular policy o f a par ticular teacher in a certain school is the reason for their no vote, and the list goes on and on. With a M f voter turnout in the last budget election, and over 2,400 people casting votes, the interest is there on this very critical issue of school financing. To help clear the air on what problems the district is facing, and to gain a clearer picture of where the voters stand, we are including^! this editorial a coupon for you to clip, fill out and return (prcasc use 40 words or less). Just check the appropriate box. whether you voted for or against the last school budget levies, and fill in your reasons for doing so All replies (except those which are libelous or personal attacks) will be printed in the September 3 issue of the Ga/cite Times, and the September 4 issue of the Board man Enterprise.
