A pril I and w ill continue through A pril 15 During this time, volun leers w ill he going door to-door to collect tax deductible donations for the society and to hand out materials to let people know what services are available through the cancer soci ety Since the crusade has not been conducted locally for several years, many people may not know that beds are available for cancer pa bent* through Ihe Society, other equipment and support groups are also available, said a local spokes person for Ihe crusade The com mumty can receive more if they only apply to the Society They have not turned down a request, and there always seems to be equipment or support available if it it requested The Society is also trying to locate a local storage area for euuipmenl Funds are used for research, patient care, and to inform people about the Cancer Society Bonna Rae M ille r is the local contact person for persons wishing to know more about w hat the Cancer Society has to offer She may be reached at 676-5519, evenings Dona tions to the Cancer Society may be mailed to local treasurer.
