O re g o n To the Editor On the last Sunday oi the Katr and Kudeo week the Wranglers Hiding •Tut) puts on a cowboy breakfast This is for the people of the rommun ity to enjoy , and for the d u b to make money to pay for year end awards for the kids in the club This breakfast has been pul on for some time now at the fair grounds on the Sunday of rodeo To my knowledge no one has ever been charged admission at the gate to the grounds in order to go to the breakfast That is up until this year with a total disregard for the Wranglers Club, the Fair Hoard decided to charge tl admission to the grounds But do not misunder stand it wasn't just for the dollar Each person through that gate repre sented by that dollar counts toward money which they can receive from the state to operate their fair grounds SB M foil can see they had everything to gam and the Wranglers would have to just take if on the chin, and they did' People turned away at the gate and went home or downtown to eat breakfast It is a real shame that this happened but the club learned a valuable lesson I might also mention that the Wranglers club will not be associ ated with the Open Morrow County horse show in the future That horse show and its "a ssets'' have been officially claimed by the County Fair Hoard All monies of that show donated or otherwise will be the property of the Fair Hoard and the County Treasurer's office Rurke O'Brien Wranglers Member C om m u n ity C alendar Bible study to lx»gin ¿it HopeA alby parish Crossways, an indepth and com prehensive study will be offered at Hope Valby Lutheran Parish this fall The two-year program, which features visuals in the form of full-color overhead transparencies, is a thorough but interesting treat ment of the Scriptures as a unit. says the Rev Rick Evensor "It's power lies in the fact that grace comes through loud and clear from the beginning of the Old Testament on Anyone in the community is wel come to participate, and is invited to attend an in form ation planning meeting on Wednesday.
