Brian Douglas placed fourth with a lime of 16 H He was on the fifth place 1600 meter relay team of Eric Pointer. Chris Kea. and Jerry An derson that ran 3 54 8 Douglas also competed in the preliminaries of the 300 meter intermediate hurdles, hut did not make the finals Anderson placed third in the 3. odd meter run with a time of 10 04 7, taking almost nine seconds off his previous best He missed qualifying for stale by Just over two seconds In the javelin.
