M l Aï-S The Department of Land Conser ration and Development has again received a request from Morrow County that their comprehensive plan and land use regulations be acknowledged to be in compliance with the Statewide Planning Goals In the first review of this plan, the la n d Conservation and Develop ment Commission found that certain aspects of the plan did not comply with Statewide Planning Goals The Commission w ill review the plan at its meeting on May 23 24. 1985 The review will be based on a Rv TKAYINIIY ATT The Heppner Mustangs record fell to I 1 last Saturday as they lost to the Scio Loggers in a pre season contest Scto. the class A champs two years ago looked impressive in the first two innings, taking a three nothing lead, thanks to a couple of errors and walks Hut the Mustangs scored three runs of their own in the bottom half of the second Rick Riehl led off the inning with a walk, followed by brother Robs single Travis Hyatt lined a single to right field to score Rick Follow mg a wild pitch that scored Hob Riehl Hyatt scored on a RBI ground out by Joe Taylor Heppner followed that inning with three more runs in the third Singles by Ron Doherty and Troy Hyatt started the rally, followed by a throwing error on the third baseman and a walk by Rob Riehl Travis Hyatt collected his second hit ot the game and his third RBI to give Heppner the lead 6 3 But that lead wasn't soon to hold as Scio registered two runs in the fifth and seven runs, imost of them unearned > to give the loggers a comfortable win Errors was the major problem of the Mustangs as they committed eight in the game Pitcher Jim McConnell allowed only five hits in the game striking out seven and walking nine Scio committed only 1 4 . i. ; It II l Scio I 2 B a 1 X {.|3 J | llrp p n rr 0 3 3 0 0 0 »-6 X X Barret and Allen.
