Wash They lived in Newport for 14 years and then returned to Portland in 1964 Survivors include her husband Bussell a daughter. Howell in Heppner He preceded her in death in 1976 Mrs Howell was a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft. St Patrick's Catholic Church and the Alter Society oi.Rtat church She is survived by two dough ters. Nona Grace of Heppner and Sylvia Gorger of Heppner, two brothers, Tom McCarty of Pendle ton and Forrest McCarty of Esta cada and four grandchildren A daughter. I9U9 at Dufur. the daughter of Thomas and Mary Manmon Glavey Miss Glavey taught school in the Morrow County School District for 38 years, first teaching in the Democrat Gulch schoolhoute. which is now located in the Hepp ner City Park adjacent to the library and museum She was a member of the St Patrick Catholic Church and Altar Society For over 30 years she was church organist and head of the choir She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the St Mary Academy Aulmni, The Dalles Survivors include her brother.
