, THIRTY-TWO-Marrow County Fair and Rode Premium Book DIVISION 9 4-H TRAIL HORSE CLASS PREMIUMS Blue-6.Red.S.WTiite-M Judged on performance and manners with emphasis on smoothness with which rider controls horse and negotiates obstacles in prescribed course. NOT TO BE JUDGED ON SPEED. There will be a time limit on each individual. After two refusals or unnecessary delays, the participant must pass and go on to the next obstacle. There will be a minimum of five obstacles used from the following: Walk through cavalletti, open and dose gate, simulated water obstacle, walk over bridge, drag rope, back through marked course, dismount and mount on off side, mailbox, carry object to specified point, lead horse over jump or obstacle, sidepass. Contestant will be scored on each obstacle and given a total score for performance based on poise, manners, use of aids, and smoothness of performance. Exhibitors may show English or Western. Gass will be judged by volunteers starting immediately after the lunch break and lasting for two hours. LOT 1. Beginner 2. Junior 3. Intermediate 4. Seniors DEPT. VI. While-12 At least 50 percent of the specimens must have been found by the exhibitor and at least five of the specimens collected during the current 4-H year. Place on hanger in plastic garment bag for display, If possible. FABRIC CHOICE MAY BE ANYTHING THAT IS SUITABLE FOR THE ARTICLE OR GARMENT.
